Betty, I've never seen Adam close up either. And you have the most wonderful husband! I'm off to bed now. Good night and good morning! Aww, happy, yes, my DH is the best!!! And re. Adam, we shouldn't give up our hope, maybe we are also so lucky to see him up close one day ...! Good night!

He was VERY dancey at Mohegan Sun one. We've discussed previously, probably relief with MSG being done! That AOBTD with the 5 6? 7? too many to count? thrusts comes from there! Not the best audio in this vid, but it definitely has the best picture!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcAwnUDEnmM THIS AOBTD is my absolute favorite! I've watched it at least a thousand times. I really like it when I see that Adam is so aggressive that I am afraid his explosive to pieces. The performance is divine, bold, sexy, raunchy, funny, amazing, powerfull and entertaining. My highlight was in Las Vegas the first night. I sat in the middle of the second row, almost within touching distance (thanks to didilyn!). When Adam came on stage, I really could not believe that this is the same man whom I have followed for many years, have seen thousands of videos, have seen four concerts (but never so close). My jaw dropped down to the floor and there it stayed for the whole night... I was absolutely shocked at how good-looking Adam was. He was in every inch perfect man. None of the pictures do not really do justice to him! I really couldn't stop staring him like an idiot. Did I heard him singing? I have no recollection. I still remember even today exactly how astonished I was! Butterfly

SophieB......it's just YOU! lol j/k. Yes, often you're just overwhelmed and can't retain it all. It's sensory overload. Thank goodness for videos to relive it over and over. The Forum was my favorite concert I attended. Like mys*&@^#r said he seemed happy to be playing at home. Plus, this was the only show where I was front and center. The closer you physically are to him, the more memorable the experience IMO even if every little thing audio wise or production wise isn't perfect. The audio is important, but equally important to me are the Adam visuals and him having fun. Being at the end of the thrust in Chicago was also a huge thrill because we didn't know what was coming when they placed "the couch" right in front of us. But I was just a few feet from him at the Forum.....I was comforting myself that that was the reason I didn't remember this little exchange with Bri! Within the forcefield. Especially as it's such a delicious little exchange ..... ......!(better leave it there)...

I had a moment just like that too. I was watching a video of the call and response where he picks up that leopard thong and "saves it for later" and I was like "wait what?! that was at my concert?!" Sure enough it was at Toronto2 and I have absolutely no recollection of it. Must have been the Glam coma. I had a different experience with the audience at this concert, but that's because I was on the upper level. They sat the entire time, they finally stood up for the encore, and they didn't really sing or yell (at least that I could hear ). I was rocking out regardless with a few others scattered here and there. I could see the people downstairs were getting into it, including the non-floor seats, and I think Brian complimented us on the singing of Love of My Life (I remember that part). The only redeeming factor of being so high up was that the view during WWTLF was truly breathtaking, in combination with the music of course, and that has been imprinted in my mind. I concur with your experience. I was in a great seat right across from the thrust around three rows off the floor and NO ONE was standing. I was on the end seat so I could step out and stand but it felt very lonely and no energy. I was so happy when I heard that those on the floor thought it was fabulous and high energy and the videos are certainly great Theosgma......you have just hit on something that i've been thinking about this week! i have some good seats for the UK concerts - ( given that there are no floor seats) - exactly as you describe - level with the head of the thrust and three rows off the floor (clear view over the standers flailing arms) BUT WILL PEOPLE IN THE SEATS STAND??! What will the energy be like? Did they stand here at other concerts? (Another thing I didn't notice). And then I think back to the overwhelming excitement of the UK audiences at the Apollo and know it will be ok. Anyway - I do have a secret weapon - being right next to momtomany at the 02. If anyone can get the party started.....

But so happy for all of you and hoping for great videos.

One of my greatest memories is of Vegas 2 when no one stopped you getting right up to the stage and seeing your sadness transformed into pure joy for a while...

And I was there too! Just loved every second. Only trouble is - I can't remember this bit. In fact, when I look back at videos of the shows I've been at, I always end up thinking, ' I didn't see this' or ' I didn't hear that'... ...even though I am absolutely glued to it all. Does anyone else have that problem? Please don't say it's just me.. It's not just you. It's called a "Glam Coma!" Very common! Then we had so much fun at The Standard having our midnight snack! Awww! I remember that bit.....and all your kindnesses to this comer-in. (I seem to be spamming a dead thread. It's what happens when you post two minutes before you go to sleep in a different time zone and see replies 10 hours later....)

I'll join you in spamming this thread, which I think is stubbornly refusing to die. Thanks to sleeping, travelling and different timezones. I remembered a lot of things very vividly from the concert, but it helped that I wrote them down very shortly afterwards. In just a couple of days a lot of my memories disappeared. And I was left with a feeling of wonder and happiness that I was able to experience this, and some powerful moments. Which was totally enough. What I did find very strange though is the things that I focussed on during the concert. I remember Adam being 'dancy', but just intellectually registering it, and dismissing it to get lost in that voice and his face again. So I missed things. I missed this for example (and I was right there at the thrust, and I do know how to splash in the shallow end, very very well, just not that night. Weird.)
