I only saw the one show (Melbourne #1) and so obviously it was the best :-) but it was a great show.
The crowd were very loud and engaged. Adam was having fun and while it seems on videos that he went for more vocal acrobatics the following night there is nothing I was unhappy about with the performance he gave us. One of the great things about only seeing one show is the lack of comparison - you don't know other so what you have is wonderful and completely fulfilling and engrossing.

Believe me, it's not just you. The only part I really truly remember from Detroit is Adam's first strut down the catwalk. He was a vision. All else is a blur. I know I was there, I think. We saw him at the first Mohegan Sun. I truly thought I was prepared. I had watched all the videos...seen him live on AI tour, GNT, and last year in Orlando, but I never had such great seats before. When he did his strut down the catwalk, my mouth fell open. This was not the same man I had seen before. He came down that ramp like a panther...strong and powerful and a thing of grace and beauty. His voice was just as powerful as his walk and I was gone. Later, when we watched some of the videos, I commented on how thrusty Adam was in AOBTD. My daughter and grand daughter just looked at me. They couldn't believe I hadn't seen him do that live. They had both gasped at those movements. I honestly don't know what happened to me. I must have gone into the Adam coma LOL. I know I participated cause in some of the videos, I see myself yelling with my hands cupped around my mouth and clapping so hard. I can barely wait to see him on his A3 tour. My daughter informed me she will take nothing less than seats that close again. Already started my A3 fund! He was VERY dancey at Mohegan Sun one. We've discussed previously, probably relief with MSG being done! That AOBTD with the 5 6? 7? too many to count? thrusts comes from there! Not the best audio in this vid, but it definitely has the best picture!! www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcAwnUDEnmM

And I was there too! Just loved every second. Only trouble is - I can't remember this bit. In fact, when I look back at videos of the shows I've been at, I always end up thinking, ' I didn't see this' or ' I didn't hear that'... ...even though I am absolutely glued to it all. Does anyone else have that problem? Please don't say it's just me.. I had a moment just like that too. I was watching a video of the call and response where he picks up that leopard thong and "saves it for later" and I was like "wait what?! that was at my concert?!" Sure enough it was at Toronto2 and I have absolutely no recollection of it. Must have been the Glam coma. The closer I am to him -- the less I can remember. I do not have an abosolute favorite Q+AL concert -- I am not sure how to pick -- there were so many special moments. I think Toronto #2 may be my favorite -- I had an amazing "seat" Row 7 on the catwalk, right side -- unobstructed view of both stages. And security was nice there. It was the concert with both Dragon Attack and TSMGO. Adam was in a special vocal place for that concert and totally in-sync with Brian. The crew, Neil, Tiger, Bri, Roger, Adam, maybe even Spike, were all so happy. The audience was also into the concert -- really loud and the energy was amazing. But I had so many great experiences during this tour, it is hard to pick a "best". I had a different experience with the audience at this concert, but that's because I was on the upper level. They sat the entire time, they finally stood up for the encore, and they didn't really sing or yell (at least that I could hear ). I was rocking out regardless with a few others scattered here and there. I could see the people downstairs were getting into it, including the non-floor seats, and I think Brian complimented us on the singing of Love of My Life (I remember that part). The only redeeming factor of being so high up was that the view during WWTLF was truly breathtaking, in combination with the music of course, and that has been imprinted in my mind. I concur with your experience. I was in a great seat right across from the thrust around three rows off the floor and NO ONE was standing. I was on the end seat so I could step out and stand but it felt very lonely and no energy. I was so happy when I heard that those on the floor thought it was fabulous and high energy and the videos are certainly great

You probably missed it because the sound is not great! But, IMO, one doesn't need any sound for this one!

So back to favorite concert. Despite gripping about the aisle at the Forum, I loved that show and particularly Adam's first prowl down the catwalk. That was when he was still coming all the way to the thrust during AOBTD. I was, as I said, right in the front row and it felt like he was coming right at me. My nervous system completely gave out at that point and like the rest of you, I felt like I was in a coma for the rest of the time. However, my favorite concert was probably Atlantic City - also front row thrust no aisle AND the first time they did Dragon Attack and that wiggly, thrusty body seemed to be within grasping distance. It was nuts! I also loved IZOD especially because of my Brian moment and could not complain about Las Vegas II - another front row orgasm (thank you forever Q3!) Problem is that I don't think I can ever be anywhere but really close. I am an addict. I freely admit it. I need the ju ju.
