OT but Fith House Sun retweeted this pic and it says it all....stand up for what you believe even if you stand alone. I think Adam would appreciate this visual very much. I love this pic. Just watched TALC's video. Thought the set was brilliant! I'm in complete awe of Adam's talent...he has complete control of his instrument. Love how he's eternally conscious of the arc of a song (remember AI? haha!)....he builds and pulls back at precisely the right time (work with THAT ladies ) Many singers haven't a clue how to do that - even if they have a great voice. It's what mesmerizes me with every performance. ..oh and the giggles. GAH! As I said last night, I enjoyed the guitar player....I don't think TJ is good enough for Adam (plus he has the personality of a doorknob). Sorrynotsorry. I am hopeful that working with Nile and Brian that Adam understands that having a bandmember who looks "pretty" and is loyal and is infamous may not be enough. (fingers crossed).Oh I so hope he understands that now!

Just listened to videos of last nights performances, and LOVE THEM! I did listen to some of the livestream too - I had no problem with the guitarist - thought he was fine, unobtrusive and there were a few sweet little sounds that came out of the guitar at times. But Adam was perfect (ha when isn't he?!?) and amazing vocals. One of best versions of OOL, one of my favs from Trespassing! Also dug the acoustic CLTCL, my fav Queen song. I'm a happy camper, love acoustic Adam. That's probably all we get of Adam solo for a while, gotta suffice I guess.....

YES! It was a great mash-up! Fixed! Thanks for catching. **** I had to work last night -- very late. So I did not listen to more than a bit of the stream until now. They were not even close to how good he sounded. Just listened to the TALC videos. Two comments: 1. To anyone who posted that "Adam phoned it in" --- that was not phoned in. 2. The guitarist is quite good. I think he was great. Finally, the Trespassing-ABTD mash up needs some arrangement work but I expect we will hear it again. And that could be pretty epic if it was electric. JMHO -- but I think I will avoid live streams in the future.
Boy, I'm with you on this one, Q3! Not dissing our livestreamers as they have provided many an experience for us. But I listened to the TALC vids and it was like day and night. I could hear some of the improv the guitarist was creating and yes, a couple of chords that didn't jive, but this guitar player was excellent. Adam sounded fabulous. Neither Adam nor the guitarist came across that well sound-wise during the stream. JMO. For me, best to wait for vids. Thank you TALC! Also for being with Adam for the first time, short set and Adam does a mashup? I mean, the guy rolled with it. And I thank Moana for the lovely poem about being kind. Posted last night. Good reminder for me. Still think the memes were a lost opportunity. Who goes to the AT&T website unless they know about this project? I'll never figure this campaign. It was lost out of the gate. I wish the memes were shown at the event. It's like the winners were an afterthought. A brief nod and and thank you and on with the show. That's all from this sector..

I agree...and I thought that guitarist was pretty great.....for a first time encounter, his subtle switch to AOBTD from Trespassing was really really good. The only complaint I have is that I wanted more...as all we greedy glamberts always do...:-)

The meme's were created to be shared on the social networks of the people creating them. The instructions for the contest were to "create a meme and share it on your social network". It was about getting people to speak up. If those who entered only sent the meme in to the contest but didn't share or spread it themselves then what is AT&T supposed to do about that? I have yet to see a review from anyone who was there that describes the entire event. Adam's performance was only a part of what went on during the evening. How do we know that the meme's weren't mentioned or talked about or even shown somewhere?
