OMG! Have just got tickets!!  Had chance of tickets for last year's concert here and it looked so much fun that I regretted not going.....especially with all the fireworks and celebrations in London on that night. Now it couldn't be more perfect..... Happy New Year everyone! !!! I was hoping you could go and could get tics!!!! WooHoo! We'll look for you in the audience! Any other Brits going??? Hope so. |

The link below is where you donate to giveStars in order to get the greeting cards with Adam's (or other star's) voice!
The donation rewards are as follows: 1) $25 for 1 greeting card (limit 500), 2) $50 for 2 greeting cards plus the celebrity "Thank You" video montage (limit 250), 3) $75 for 3 greeting cards plus the celebrity "Thank You" video montage plus the video launch diary (limit 250). Note that there is a limit to the number of each rewards given out (works like the Kickstarter program). They obviously do not know Adam fans! We will have these all bought out by the end of today, or sooner!!! GO, GO, GO!!! I hope they will add more of these 3 greeting card donation reward categories as the higher priced donations rewards do not even include the cards. Also, note the timeline at the bottom of the web link. The voice greeting cards do not start going out until Oct 2015. Well, I shall have one for my birthday next year! Check out the venue. This church will be transformed into The Church of Glam Rock ! I thought it was funny in the ticket price info, you are limited to 2 drinks, because this is a functioning church. www.c-h-w.com/gallery/large-rooms/great-hall/121/Not a Baptist church. We already know that A3 won't be released until 2015. And this is huge for Adam, huge. All he needs is exposure. Look at the coverage just from 5 minutes on XFactor and multiply that. I may be looking at the reports and tweets with an Adam slant but seems like most of the buzz was for Adam from yesterday. Do you think that the NYE gig is really the start of the A3 strategy and A3 could be released in the UK first? If it does well, there, and Adam is deemed 'relevant'/'cool' then he would be better positioned to explode, in the US? JMHO -- if Adam can break through in the UK, yes, it will be very important in the US. And being on the BBC One + BBC Radio 1 NYE broadcast will help that effort. **** The magnitude of Queen + Adam Lambert being on this program is just hitting me. In 2013, the BBC One NYE TV programme (just 15 minutes in length -- the fireworks part) was 2013's most watched programme of the year in the UK -- 13,520,000 viewers. It was preceded and following by a special concert from Gary Barlow in London; receiving 8.80m and 6.38m viewers respectively. The total program was 90 minutes last year. Last year there were multiple artists with Gary Barlow as the "headline" concert. [Gary Barlow was the frontman and lead vocalist of British pop-group Take That and served as a judge on series 8, 9 and 10 of The X Factor.] I assume but have not researched the list of artists for this year, but expect that there will be/are multiple artists again. So Adam gets to be on the UK's #1 TV programme, and we get a full concert live stream!  |

Queen + Adam Lambert are performing an exclusive concert on New Year’s Eve from London, close to the iconic landmark of Big Ben, which will be broadcast live on BBC One. Queen + Adam Lambert Rock Big Ben Live will take place in the build up to the clock striking midnight to see in 2015 and continue after the spectacular, world famous fireworks display along the river Thames, which is also live on BBC One. Brian May, Roger Taylor and Adam Lambert first toured together in 2012 and have since toured the world to huge critical acclaim. The exclusive performance will feature some of their most legendary hits performed by Adam as their impressive front man, continuing the legacy of iconic lead singer Freddie Mercury. Roger Taylor says: “I never imagined we would be around to usher in the year of 2015, what a thrill! We promise you a great night.” Brian May says: “OK – Let’s Rock into 2015!” Adam Lambert says: “Words can’t describe how excited I am, we are going to kick off 2015 in style!” The broadcast of the event will be presented by BBC Radio One presenters Greg James and Gemma Cairney. Last year’s New Year’s Eve celebrations, featuring Gary Barlow’s Big Ben Bash Live, were watched by a peak of almost 14 million people between 23.15 and 00.30am.
