I followed the link to Roger's fb page from the previous page here and am really appalled at the number of complete homophobic asshats commenting when their hero was a gay man who died of AIDS....you would think that simple fact would ween most of that type of idiot out, wouldn't you? Seriously do not understand that sort of thinking...if that is what you want to call it.... That will teach me to scroll down the comments section...they are flaming idiots....and to post on Roger's fb...good grief.... You brave soul. Don't read the comments on anything that is posted by Queen, Roger, Brian, or related parties that have to do with promoting QAL. They are always brutal. And no, it really has not gotten substantially better over time. Adam gets more than a fair share too. |

I would say that is a fair assessment. In their own show, they have full control over everything, and with TV, very little control. That would probably drive Brian crazy since he seems to be a perfectionist. I think Rodger & Especially Brian are not fans of Talent TV shows (even if they found "God's Gift of Adam) from one. I remember Brian being very critical about the Voice which may have explained their attitude during the interview part. I thought everyone was great during the live show!!! One of Adam's best TV performances, maybe his best ever! Roger has a pretty strong opinion as well. |

I am so happy reading all of the tweets and people "discovering" Adam for the first time after last nights amazing performance. Any idea when / if Adam is coming home - or do you think he will stay in the UK to rehearse etc. I'm thinking he'll be home for at lease a couple of weeks - thoughts anyone ? He wasn't happy that it was just the voice that was being considered, instead of the whole person/whole package so to speak. I think he felt that stage presence/charisma were also really valuable when it came to judging a contestant. I'm thinking maybe they don't hate the Idol and/or X-Factor format so much, or they wouldn't show up to be guest performers. It also had something to do with Brian's current solo partner, Kerri Ellis, not getting selected during The Voice auditions in the UK. I think they thought that she is too Broadway. |

Question about the BBC1 streaming, is this available everywhere? There are two different things --- BBC One is TV -- and that official stream is only available in the UK but there are loads of other streamers. I tried to register from the US with a London address but it did not work. BBC 1 is BBC Radio 1 -- and that is available almost everywhere in the world including the US: www.bbc.co.uk/radio1#_BBC Radio 1 will be streaming the audio from the concert with an interruption for the 15 minute NYE Program. |

Just saw something that made me realize, yet again, how extraordinary Adam is. On The Voice, Blake Shelton was criticizing one of the contestants for not putting enough heart and emotion into a song the contestant has performed many times (the Eagles' "Take It Easy"). Blake emphasized that to succeed, a singer needs to find something new and fresh even in old familiar songs, every time. He stated that a fan might attend a show just to hear that one song, and will go home sorely disappointed if the singer performs it halfheartedly.
Adam never, EVER, performs anything with less than a full heart and his best effort, and without fail, he never performs a song the same way twice. He always finds some new notes, new phrasing, new expression, etc. to enhance it and delight himself and us fans. And he accomplishes this instinctively, with so little effort! This reflects the depth of what singing means to him and how deeply he cares about making his fans happy. How can anyone not love this man?
