I was a hippie but I didn't look like one. I was more into tight sweaters than gauze smocks. I always ironed my jeans and put a crease in them. (I first stopped ironing my t-shirts in the 80's) my kids favorite photos of are of mom and dad in 1969 with our sawed-off ceiling VW bus in the background. Our first home. oh those VW buses. lol. I had a black wall in my apt and black and white peace sign curtains that I sewed myself. |

I buy NOTHING that requires ironing. I may own an ironing board. Not sure anymore.
ETA: I find that 5 minutes in the dryer with a wet washcloth cures nearly all ills. That or I bring stuff like blazers into the bathroom with me when I take a shower. Hmm...how does this relate to Adam?
[laughs] I don't think he owns an iron either, otherwise he wouldn't be asking Leila to iron his shirts! ;D {I grinned so hard reading that interview - its so something that I would ask my iron-loving Mom to do too!}

That's what I did before some genius invented dryers, fabric softener sheets and perm-press. I accidently "lost" my iron when we moved three years ago. Never missed it. ;D |
