I love Sunday's here. It's a beautiful day in Madison, almost 70 degrees and all I want to do is look at more Adam!

GNAMNATION LIVE is on repeat in my car as well. I am lately making the drive from LA to Palm Springs fairly often on weekends to see my mother there, and it makes the drive just fly by. His voice is perfection, and listening to it never fails to make me feel happy and make my world a better place to live. Just listening to him literally makes me in a good mood and eases away all of the cares of real life. What a gift he has to be able to impact so many of us that way!
NoAngel, love your post, as always. You write:
"But instead of calling out the viewers, Adam calls upon his inner resources to deliver a brave, put-it-all-on-the-line performance. He channels his emotions into the song, and lets us figure out the meaning for ourselves. Instead of making excuses, he fights to earn his stay on the show. He gives us ferocity and intensity and passion, and it is only afterwards, as he fights back tears during the judges’ praise, that you get a sense of how vulnerable it feels and the emotional toll that it takes to put yourself out there for everyone to judge."
This part reminds me of when he was mentoring and he told the one girl (Katie?) to put all the frustration she'd been feeling from the judges comments into her song.
As you point out so powerfully, Adam does channel his emotions into his songs when he is singing and allows himself to be broken open during their delivery in a way that always makes me feel along with him. That is part of what makes him so genius.
I always love watching him transition back to reality in those moments when he finishes a song. There is something magical for me about making that transition with him, from whatever passionate feeling he has taken me into, to rather passionate adoration for the man himself- for the beautiful, smiling man who has taken me there and brought me back so perfectly.
Thanks for posting up the screen caps after his MJ song. My heart does little flip flops when I look at them placed collectively one against the other like that. Such sweet emotion there...honestly, how could anyone not love him?
Can anyone embed that performance here? I only have my iPad, and my vids are on my computer, and I would love to see that performance again after all this inspiring discussion of it.

Noangel - you write what's in our hearts Q3 - you are genius !!! ...am standing in line for that concert and yes, would sell my only son son for the chance Re: live cd...my car was in the shop all day monday with my live cd in the player. My longtime mechanic ( the sweetest, most honest guy from Jamaica ) heard me blasting live Adam and recognized his voice. I told him about GNT and also added that I had his FYE cd and he was welcome to listen to both. At the end of the day, I asked him which one he would like and the instant answer was "CONCERT CD!"

Good morning!! Wow, GORGEOUS shots from Leno, danilo. I'm all in with this concert and also behind throwing these dreams out into the universe 100 percent. Look how many things have manifested for Adam because he's declared them openly, without explanation or apology, but with a hopeful heart. And now it's like, whoa, when you watch old interviews back, it's amazing. Finding his viking under the Northern Lights. NoAngel, your essay is beautiful. So completely true and also another indication that Adam went into this whole thing intending to project positivity into everything he did. Every interaction with the judges, the audience and the other contestants seemed to come from a place of peace within himself. He understood he could help, support and encourage other contestants without it being a detriment to his competitive edge. That's extremely evolved thinking and behavior. He knew he could keep giving away advice, assistance, goodwill and love and it would all come back to him ten-fold. The other contestants obviously adored him. And to actually walk the walk, down to his core, that – to me – is the mark of an extremely positive, secure person. I mean, I think even the best of us, when we truly want to live and project positivity, we can still have our moments in high-pressure situations or when someone stomps on an Achilles heel. I'd like to think Jacob didn't mean that the way it came out. Love the old reviews from his SD theater days!! I would love to see him do comedy. And Greece or Carnegie Hall ... I'M IN!!!

LOL!! All this talk about Black or White, of course, made me want to go watch. I'm on LexieeLambert's YT channel, because she has them in HD and I couldn't find BoW at first. However, I clicked on the Top 13 results show group performance. We know they're lip synching, as that has been much-discussed, however, I just happened to focus in on Jorge towards the end and he is not even remotely mouthing the words he is supposed to be singing. Not even close.
