About the live CD - I remember when we were all throwing fits because Adam had said there would NOT be another single in the US from FYE, as other countries were announing more releases of Sleepwalker........ Who knew we would get this awesome Accoustic Live EP, with cuts from GlamNation, and then the Aftermath Remix and Adam's performance of Aftermath on AI? And to top it all off, the amazing GlamNationLive DVD/CD!!!!!!!!! Adam always gives us more than what we didn't know we wanted. He is a genius!!!

Good morning everyone. Catzmadam, good luck with everything. \ Hey gelly, how about Esphesus? Elton John did an amazing concert there a while back (no I wasn't there). Beautiful place. It was at night and there were candles everywhere, on the pillars, crumbled stone and tucked back into the holes in the walls. I saw this concert on tv, so I guess he made a live dvd of it. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ephesusyoutu.be/ObV-6BiMtT8One of my favorites. And it totally describes NYC IMO. youtu.be/FkbM20x9ffA

Q3, hope I'm on your private concert list!! Don't forget to mention to Adam's people that we would pay a pretty penny for this private concert too!
NoAngel, I loved your essay and all the parts that referred to Adam's fearlessness and that night. How well I remember the tears in his eyes and the relief on his face with the judges critiques. I would like to take a little space to explain what I think sparked Jacob's comment. I agree, he should have held it to himself, but I think he was at the end of a very emotional week. I follow Jacob on twitter and he was getting hate tweets last week. I even tweeted him about being strong and quoted the "force fields up" tweet. He's younger than Adam with none of the professional experience Adam had, at this point on Idol. And, besides being Gay (which I suspect he is) he is Gay, black, religious, and chubby. And he is Gay, black and from Compton! Wow, what that must be like, I can't even comprehend. So, while his comment kind of stunned me, I cut him a lot of slack. Adam's outlook on life is beyond amazing. I would guess, there are very few people around like him. But, Jacob follows Adam on Twitter, so maybe some of Adam view of the universe might eventually rub off on him.

So we're all going to Greece for a private concert from Adam? Count me in!
Great essay, NoAngel. The irony is that Jacob's statement is probably what landed him in the bottom three for the first time. I am moved every time I watch Adam's reaction to the judges' comments after Black or White. I don't think I was aware at the time that it was just after the Bradam pictures surfaced, or if I was, I didn't put it together with his reaction. My feeling was more that he had been working toward this for a long time and hearing the judges' comments gave him real hope that he would have the career he'd always dreamed of. But knowing the timing of it, his tears mean even more. ILHSFM.

Although Carnegie Hall would be amazing, how about Radio City for us fans in the US. I saw Elton there in 2004. He had a choir from the Juilliard School of Music and a full orchestra from the London Royal Academy of Music. I was there and it was Fucking Awesome! Paid the big bucks for 5th row seats and it was worth every penny. Elton donated the proceeds from the concert to both schools. Could you imagine Adam backed up by a full orchestra and choir? cassie, I bet you could pick the songs. youtu.be/54CK8p-pDAUSimply beautiful! youtu.be/OTpDuJyncLQ

No Angel, great reading this morning agree totally. I think Adam has is so comfortable with himself and never places blame on others for any negativity that comes his way. I think alot of that comes from his family and Eber always making him feel special and encouraging him to be himself. I think this is very important for boys to have such positive reinforcement from fathers. I think Neil had issues also from what I read from him and may have been bullied in school. We know he had drug issues. Eber and Leila seemed to handle all this well and both Adam and Neil seem to have come out stronge and independent men with lots of self confidence.
I am there for any concert anywhere.
