I sometimes wonder if spending time with Brian and Rodger and getting to hear stories about Freddie (his idol) has given him a bit more understanding of what it is like for us trying to find out every little tidbit. In the beginning he was a little intimidated by all of it and apparently not having stanned someone to that extent himself he didn't really get what it was for us. But now he's gotten the ultimate backstage pass, so to speak, so maybe he understands us as fans a little bit more.
Bono has always been pretty forgiving of his over the top fans because he remembered the first time they toured California he found out where Bob Dylan was living and went out to his house and almost climbed over the wall when he suddenly realized what he was doing. He'd also gone round to the house of a music critic in a rage over a bad review and was right up to the point of pounding on his door with the intention of punching him out when he had a sudden attack of embarrassment an turned around and went home.

"Wolfy" Do not remember what this refers to?! Passed along the selfie stick idea to Adam. It would make their pic taking way easier!  I just posted about the selfie stick!!! SNAP, Mys*&@^#r! But then Adam wouldn't be letting us know that ~someone else is taking his picture. This is quite the choreography playing out here..lol.. I'm having fun with it. I can't get my panties twisted in knots because I think Adam and Sauli might be enjoying this ride more than we are. Their photos and they IMO are not being posted randomly. This means..photos can sometimes be grist for the mill. That's where we get to play. Atop is all about speculation. And ninja supremos. It's what we've always done. Adam gets to sit on the sidelines and watch us go bonkers   The man likes to be entertained..who can blame him? |

Hey Bamafan and Mys*&@^#r50 - what was this business about Adam spending time with Sauli in Stockholm? I don't remember anything about this? I don't follow Sauli or really follow Adam's relationships with people much, but I do read here a lot, did I miss that? What did they do in Stockholm? Was that when Adam was over there working for weeks?

I have an idea. Since this is the first time Adam and Sauli have 'teamed up' to share photos of their current lives with such gusto, why not think of 'present' instead of 'past'..wouldn't that be novel??? People grow, they change, they continue on with their lives. I'd like to start from now and forget all the speculations about what happened to Adam and Sauli in the past. Past is so passe and these are grown men, not children. They are here now and that's what they are showing us. Enjoy! The view's great! JMO and all that jazz. |

So interesting chronology. Adam posts the Tulum pictures and we say "vacation must be over". Sauli posts hiking pictures Christmas morning confirming vacation over so we all start talking about whether or not they are still together, etc. Adam posts hiking picture specifically labeling it Christmas morning. Yup still hanging out together. If he didn't want us to know they were still hanging out he didn't have to post the pic or label it the way he did. So often his posts speak directly to the topic of the moment it is really hard not to think he is answering us. ETA: Press has started to pick up on vacation photos with no mention of Sauli. I'd say he played that perfectly. Now I tend to think a bit different from y'all and think that the press-free beneficiary of this is Sauli. The Finnish press seemed to have a heyday on their relationship to the point that articles about what event or project Sauli was working on about half the article mentioned his famous American boyfriend. I can hardly imagine how tiring that must be with the additional stress of wondering if was I wanted for this project for me or because of my relationship. Having a ton of Glamberts hanging on your twitter/press etc feeds to catch some glimpse of their guy doesn't show you who is actually there for you. I would hope in that sense that Sauli would never have to "get permission" from Adam to post anything. |
