I love this song! Why aren't people buying it on i-Tunes?! :( Maybe because radio is not playing this song. Once at 10 PM is not going to gain popularity Why aren't other stations picking it up? |

A $16 DVD sold 4 times the amount of a $1 single! :-/ True but maybe fans who already purchased the DVD, didn't want another version of AM but wanted to support just Adam, therefore, the purchase of the DVD. I don't know, I was kinda surprised to see the low sales of AM. |

I don't know, I was kinda surprised to see the low sales of AM. I think that the availability of the Remix was an issue. It should have been available on itunes the night Adam performed on Idol and people were searching for the song. |

I love this song! Why aren't people buying it on i-Tunes?! :( Remixes of non-hit singles rarely turn into hits. And Aftermath was really only released to radio and a hit in Finland. RCA email a digital file of Aftermath Remix to radio stations but it has no add date, was not pushed to radio, had no promotional support, and is too long -- 5:25 with no radio edit -- in other words, it was not really released to US radio. I am thankful that Acoustic Live!, Aftermath Remix and GML -- all interim projects -- have kept Adam in the press and gotten him a bit of radio airplay. Very few new artist have this kind of product at all. And outside of the North America, Adam is still getting new singles -- 16 months after FYE was released. We are really lucky -- most Idol alums get an album, 1 or 2 videos, and 1 or 2 singles promoted to radio. Cook got an album, 1 single promoted to radio, and 2 videos plus promotional support for a US tour. We are in the lead up to his new album and there is little promotion. Adam got 1 album, 3 US singles released to radio + TFM, 3 videos + TFM, 2 EPs, a DVD+CD from the tour, singles in at least 28 countries, plus support for a worldwide tour (including 2 promo trips to UK/Europe and 1 promo trip to Asia-Pacific). Adam's album is due out in the Fall and he is getting more press and buzz than anyone from Idol except Carrie Underwood. That includes Cook, Daughtry and Kelly. |

I wonder what RCA had in mind when they agreed to release it. Did it cost them very little, so no biggie, did Adam push for it, was it released as good PR , was the Trevor Project asking for something from Adam. I wonder what tptb thought. I'm sorry to see the low sales.... doesn't appear that the Trevor Project will be getting very much $$.

well I am probably a bad stan. I didn't buy the remix from I tunes. I bought it from AO and gifted some from there as well. Add to that the multiple copies of the dvd and that was enough.

Most OT, but I just taught a writing class and gave the class one of my favorite poems to read, which I hadn't looked at in a while (I'm not remotely religious, but I find it a beautiful poem). Anyway, as we read it together I realized that from now on I'll always think of one thing while reading it: Somehow, that doesn't bother me. Sorry, it was just in my head as I came back from class, and I know you guys don't mind a random attack of pretty freckles... :D Oh, that's beautiful~ All of it, words & pics. Mmmm hmmm.
