When they say through June don't they mean through the end of June. The tour started June 19 but it seems that Adam is not getting paid until the tour is over?  No! Why on Earth would you make that assumption?! It means Forbes doesn't have those figures. The article says the QAL tour will be in next year's article. I am glad, will make his total higher! Pretty sure it is June 1 - June 1. They used to say "Through May"  |

Also Scotty and PP have those terrible contracts which mean they only get about 1/5th of their earnings. Sadly they are getting ripped off.

Agree! I don't think either Carrie or Kelly will have tour $$ in the next Forbes list. Adam won't have solo tour $$ either, but he will have all of the QAL estimates & initial album release money. Kelly will have a new album. But, I'd still say, he being #1 has a very good chance. Yup, agreed, my hope prediction as well. And furthermore, independent on how this ranking for the first three slots will shake out, this next Forbes statistic will be the first one that will have a clear trio at the front (my guess: AL, CU, KC, in this order) all roughly in the 10+ mil ballpark and then a big break, before the next 'also earning more than 1 million bucks' - group, where I suspect we will find, SMcCreery, JHudson, KPickler, KMcPhee, CDaughtry, PPhillips, JSparks, and whoever else I may be forgetting this minute. But I suspect, we will not find the two Davids, not Clay Aiken (his campaign did not raise a ton for him, and not sure how much of that would be personal income anyhow). There is also the musical theater lead role group, that I notoriously underestimate, i.e. THicks, KMaroulis, FBurino, and perhaps a few others. We'll have to see. Anyhow, Adam will finally be at the front of the bus together with the two ladies, right where he belongs, and truth be told, I think that this will create quite a media cycle just on its own, because I think that many folks in the US are just not aware how great Adam's career has been going recently. The business world knows, you can see it on such little things, that Adam, Kellie are on top page on Ryan Seacrest's article, to demonstrate idol's strength in producing stars. They know. Next January, when the next statistic rolls around, Joe Public will find out and I expect that statistic to get much more press than this year's numbers will. Mys*&@^#r, I like your thinking that initial album sales will count in this cycle, lol.  Scorpian is doing well in the ratings I think so McPhee may do better than the pack she is included it, as well.... |

At one time there was a discussion about what Adam might earn on the North American, Asia, Australia, New Zealand tour. I think Q3 estimated it could be around $10 million but that was gross, not after management, legal, and other fees deducted. I am wondering if that estimate will hold. Also, based on the number of dates would the potential for Adam to earn something in that ballpark again be possible for the European leg of the tour? Just interested and hope that it puts Adam in a place that he can continue to be selective about his projects and explore options that interest him.

Just my opinion here and no disrespect to the conversation going on, but I find speculation about earnings of anyone in bad taste - I hate ranking / earnings lists of all ilks. And also find our cult of worshiping income as a designator of worth to be super destructive.
Adam's worth as an person, as an artist, as a role model, as a friend and son has nothing to do with $$$ and no matter what the $ figure it would be too low. And while I can look at an earnings list and smile that he's way past needing to find the money for dimmer switches - where he is on that list is irrelevant (to me).
