This definitely looks like an interesting season, but a bit too soon to tell until we are down to the top 12. Some of the interesting and quirky ones may be gone. Hoping for a good bunch!!!

The show has really been pushing Jax -- I haven't decided what I think of her yet.

Just wondering, did any of Adam's picks from his judging episode get through Hollywood week? Yes, Jax and Maddie made it. I'd have to research if any others did. But Shi made it and i still agree with Adam, she (Shi) is NOT ready!! |

The Adam guy that our Adam had sing a second song made it to 24 I think too. And at least one other Bronx guy.

I just watched the NY episode again and Jax, Maddie, Adam, Katherine, Qaasim, and Shi all came from NY. Adam said yes to all but Shi. I predict she will get voted off quickly. She is extremely unlikable!

I agree that Idol is showing more promise this year than it has in years....they have made some really good changes and choices. There are some really promising young performers in this years top 24 and I am looking forward to seeing how things shape up.
Beiber boy is talented and will likely go fairly far as the tween voters will love him...hard to say how he will develop over the long haul, but ... Beiber was really talented at that age too, but time and fame have not served him well...unless your measuring stick is commercial.... I also agree Shia is neither ready nor extraordinary and suspect she may make the top 12 but doubt she will survive far into the single digits...eye candy only gets you so far.
They are pushing Jax...but I also like her....did from the first few notes she sang. And she is very likeable.
I see how good Rayvon is but he is not my fav...just not a fan of his style. But he is very talented.
Like Quentin a lot and am looking forward to seeing more of him. I don't remember all the names but there are some really good men this year...which has not been the case for some time, imo. More good men than girls perhaps...hard to say...there are 3 or 4 really good girls too. I just remembered that I think I liked Qaasim too...

For the first time since season 8, I think my favorite is a boy! Loving Quentin. His style 7 brave artistic choices are reminding me of Adam. Also really like Nick and Rayvon. The girls tonight! So far I like Jax, Tyanna, and Katherine. Can't wait to see how they do  |
