Totally agree smokeyvera. I was listening to Adam's Master Plan today...the lyrics in that song are so perfect...I am surprised actually, that he did not release that here. In a lot of ways, it might have been as good if not a better choice to release for the Trevor Project....just thinking out loud... I ADORE Master Plan and I hold out hope that it'll be used someday. Would be perfect for a Pride parade. But, IMO, it would probably have been deemed too militant for the Trevor Project. The song has a very strong message and would probably scare the bejeezus out of the pearl-clutchers. No doubt you are right noangel...too bad....one day though...I do believe that day is coming

Another fan of Master Plan here. I think it is a too often overlooked song. I'd love to see more exposure for it.

Me three, rama..I was surprised Adam never used it as an encore during GN.. especially on nights he did Mad World. Thought MW would swing beautifully into Master Plan and have the crowd leaving on a high note, message and all.

I say let children play, let them use their imagination. There is too little of that today. How many young children sit in front of the TV watching cartoons, or kiddie shows for hours, instead of being creative with their toys, or with Mommy's & Daddy's shoes, or Mommy's nail polish, or a trunk full of costumes? My little grandson was fascinated with the play kitchen at his day care when he was a toddler. First toy he ran to in the morning. Not the trucks, or action toys. I think his Mommy even painted his toes a few times when she was giving herself a pedicure. He just turned 4 last month, loves the Heroes action figures, has a doll he adores, and carries worms around with his fingers. Yuck!!! (loved chasing Nana with one 'cause he thought it was funny that she screamed :-[) His Mommy hated dresses, loved to climb trees in shorts & bare feet, played with paper dolls, had a collection of matchbox race cars, and "posed" at 6 yrs old in her new bikini bathing suit. Children don't know there are supposed to be "only girl things", or "only boy things". They are exploring, and wondering, and learning all the time. And, as parents, we need to let them, as long as they are not endangering themselves, or others.

My son's closest friend, when he first came to this country was a girl, 4 years younger than he. That was the only kid that would accept this foreign, over the top ADHD kid, who by the way is such a sweet boy. He would play with dolls and play house and do tea parties, with her and she would play with his trucks and cars at our house. They even exchanged toys so they could have some to play with, while they were at each of their respective homes. They were inseparable for 4 years. Then all of suddent she started hanging with girls and he with boys. Best experience ever for him. He has the utmost respect for girls. But now he is in to girls in a different way and thinks they are a pain in the ass. He loves his mom so much, and often when younger around 7 or 8, would dress up in my clothes and put on my hats and shoes and jewelry. Now he thinks that is so uncool. I feel all of these experiences have shaped my son in extremely good ways. Would never trade it for the world. A great story, smokey. I think you have a very special son.
