Glittergma so sorry to hear about your DIL's grandma. Sending light and love to all your family. Sounds like your son has a lot of 'love' surrounding him so I know he'll be able to get through this pain and will get relief soon.

I know my Mom & Dad are there, welcoming all that join them there. There is also a place for our beautiful furries called the Rainbow Bridge. I have many furries waiting for me there. I wish I could figure out how to do all the graphics, etc., but want to thank you all for being so sweet and caring. Not that I didn't know you weren't, for sure.
I am feeling so much better now, thanks to all of you, and those on twitter who have responded to me.
There is no place betterer than Atop!!! TY Q3, for all you bring to us Adam fans. You all rock!!
And, Q3, sorry for being so OT tonight. Don't mean to be, just needed to get it all out, and what better place?
Adam has brought more than awesome music into my life. He has brought me some very special friends...be they cyber friends, or ones I have actually met.
YOU ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so grateful for all that you are and all that you give. TY again!!

There was a time when I thought I'd be retired by now...LOL!! Guess not, but I do love my job. I have quoted Adam many times about *You get back what you give away*. It's so true when you work in LTC, and they actually get it!! Such sweetness in the elderly. So much to learn. Such happy times, along with the bittersweet. Life lessons.......What you said really touched me. I lost my mother a couple of years ago at 95,and as you so beautifully stated, there is "such sweetness in the elderly". The true gift you can give the elderly is YOUR TIME...it makes them feel they are still important and have something to still contribute in life. So you are doing a very special thing and your job is so important. I'm glad Adam came into my life right after the loss of my mother because he made me smile and enjoy myself and made my loss a little less painful as I continued to follow his career. Adam seems to have helped many of us through some hard times with his beatufiul voice and personality. |
