Adam's tweets today were sweet. Glad he's excited about the million followers. On Cookie's single... I liked it on first listen but then I like pop/rock music in general. I love the texture and tone of David's voice. I have his first album Analog Heart which I loved and I have his "official" debut which I liked. This song has the potential to be a good hit on HOT AC for him. I heard it on the radio three times today and it doesn't even get released until tomorrow. I think David has a lot of good will at radio because he's a good guy and a talented artist. Plus Ryan is attached to the song. ...and perhaps he has good promo...It's not my type of music but all the best to him... |

Does anyone know what kind of site this is? Is this an actual music critic or is this another version of an Examiner.com type of site? I ask because this review almost sounds like a fan review. This is not a "real review". About.com does screen its writers -- and limits the number of experts in a subject area. This writer has a communications degree and worked on the "retail side of the business" for 10 years. I think that means he worked in a record store. About.com is a mega-content site with thousands of writers -- it is owned by the New York Times Co but the writers pick their own topics, write articles, and post them -- tons of them -- whenever they feel like it. You need to be approved to write on a particular subject to get to write about it. The application process is not rigorous and pay is low. You can actually make more as an Examiner. |

Speaking of nose jobs - I was talking to a local Adam fan who works for a plastic surgeon and she says 100% Adam has had a nose job. Apparently one can tell because of how the "new nostrils" are placed as compared to his pre-nose job pics. Supposedly it's dead giveaway to anyone working in the business. I guess anything's possible but I thought his nose looked narrower because of make-up. On RuPaul's Drag Race it's really amazing how can reshape a face with make-up only. |
