Nationalglampoon, Holst, Cassie, I'm really impressed by your thorough knowledge of Music. This thread is the best school ever for someone like me who tries to learn and needs clear examples in order to understand something. I can't thank you all enough.
Holst - Yes, the harmony-harmonium I was referring to is exactly the pic you posted above. I had scary funny memory of it when I was a kid: in my hometown, the church is very small and is at least 100 years old. The harmonium there was about the same age, so old that the sound was a little bit broken and creepy. The guy who used to play it had no gentleness at all while running his fingers over the keyboard and he made funny face to us. You mix that with the vision of bats staring at us from the roof....very cliché but true. Thank God, they upgraded the harmonium to a new one since that! ;D
crooner: I was thinking about Buble too. Il Divo is known here because of their duet with Celine Dion, as the Canadian singer is very much known in the Malagasy household.

I have fond memories because my dad has owned several pump organs. However, the one I now own is tall and looks a bit forboding. It was used as a major set piece for a local production of the musical "Sweeney Todd." It looked great for a creepy show.

I googled "Sweeney Todd", It seems an interesting dramatic play, even more if emphasized by the harmonium. Currently most of local church, even the smallest one, use synthesizer. Nevertheless, I kind of miss the harmonium sound, It did have something special.
Happy holidays everyone!

Hi Shimayo, it's Christmas Day and I have nothing in particular to do until much later in the day. So, even though this is very not about Adam, here is a scene from Sweeney Todd that has organ/harmonium music sprinkled throughout. Of course, electronic sounds are used instead. This person seems to have the full tour production (starring Angela Lansbury) online. Let's see, Adam could play a part in this--leading role is a baritone, however. But if Johnny Depp can do it, Adam could. (There, whew!)

Hi Holst, Thank you for the vid, oh, the harmonium...the scene at 3.10 and 3.30. ("Hair?!?", "A fingernail?!?") Watching this play live must be something, and you're right about the leading-role, Adam can do it. Correction: Adam can outdo it. #notbiasedatallbecauseitsthetruth

One question: is WWFM a hard song for Adam to sing live in original key?
ETA, I know this question is a bit odd. Because we've heard him sang it many many times in whatever key. Today I came across one vocal expert's post on one fan site saying that "TFM is a lot easier than WWFM in original key for Adam to sing it good live. Because around B4 happens to be a relatively uncomfortable note for him to sing."
Thanks.

But we've never seen Adam singing TFM live... have we? No, ;D but somehow for certain people, it seems not hard for them to envision Adam killing TFM 'easily' live. But the same people would say WWFM is hard for Adam to sing live in original key because of that B4.

In this version of TP, he hits the B4 approx 35 times, if I counted them all. (I DON'T NEED NO G P S to SHOW ME WHERE TO GOoo" Everything in caps is sung on a B4). And, that gorgeous high note that Adam holds forever on CTMBTM? Yup, it's a B4. So, why does this expert say it is a difficult note for Adam? :dunno:

That's why I brought it over here to ask you people's opinion about it. But if I were to guess, it might have something to do with the natural break you mentioned before. May I ask what is your favorite WWFM live in original key? Thanks.
