She usually sounds really good when singing nice and light like on Rabbit Heart verses and pre-choruses, but I find her performances fall apart when she starts belting. Her belting technique is real bad and shouty, you can actually hear her in that performance having a harder time with the big chorus note every time cause her cords are getting all agitated.

Well, of course I can't use technical words because I know nothing about singing, but I can say I didn't like that performance. And I can also say I don't like her vibrato at all. :-/
(The site is crazy. I've been trying to post this for 10 minutes and still no luck).
ETA: Finally!

OT - Your comment reminded me of the opera aria "Credeasi, misera", which has a F5. Not many tenors can hit that note full voice. I remember Pavarotti did it in falsetto.BTW there are lots and lots and lots of males can hit F5s in full voice, even baritones. But less who can hit it to an operatic standard; I just think a distinction needs to be made between what it means to "hit" notes in opera and hit notes in pop and rock. Maybe I'm just pedantic idk lol ;D

You're not pedantic, don't worry. ;D I get the same way when it comes to medicine, I understand the urge to clarify everything. lol

Very bad! I think she'd sound so much better too if she worked out a good technique for belting

I don't know anything about singing at all, but Florence sounds off-key to me in that video, it's painful to listen to. Surprised to see almost all the comments in youtube heaping high praise on the performance. Am I mistaken?

I don't know anything about singing at all, but Florence sounds horribly off-key to me in that video, it's painful to listen to. Surprised to see almost all the comments in youtube heaping high praise on the performance. Am I mistaken? She's sorta got a "big" voice comparing to some other female singers. That is very appealing to many people's ears. Plus this is an unique rock song. Peeps think the way she sings is very cool her voice sounds powerful and cool and the music is kinda cool too. So... : ETA, thank you Glampoon
