I remember a tweet from P!NK who had to cancel a concert due to bronchitis. She was devastated. They were driving by the venue and she was crying and trying to tell her fans how sad she was that SHE had let them down.
Artists who care like that, take these things much to heart. And Adam hasn't missed a concert date in forever. He's carrying more than bronchitis, I would bet. And no opportunity to reschedule. I have no idea how he made it through Frankfurt. That was almost inhuman. Bless his huge heart.
Sending much light to this courageous man. And to all the Queen ensemble. Brian also gave it his all being ill. May everyone stay healthy for the rest of the tour.

I think it is 'just' bronchitis and Adam will be fine soon. Adding my healthy wishes to yours (and sneaking in a little wish about a rescheduled concert too).

I completely understand why Brian and Roger would not want to do a show without Adam . He brings an incredible amount of energy to the show that is completely apart from his talent. Adam feeds off the crowd, and I'm sure Brian and Roger do, too, but they also feed off the energy of Adam. Even some critics talk about the energy that goes out of the show when Adam leaves and the way it returns when he does. Adam is young and joyous and gifted and charismatic, and I believe that, for Bri and Rog, he is a vital part of making DOING the shows feel good - AND, in their minds, of making the shows good ENOUGH as well. After all, they are perfectionists, and they want their shows to be at a certain standard that they feel good about.
Adam will be well soon enough, and the show will go on once again in the way that Brian and Roger feel is best.

The flu that has hit this year which the vaccines did not provide protection for is a high temp, bronchial (bronchitis symptoms) type that last 2 to 3 days. I had it in November, and my son had it in January. You feel like crap with chills and bronchitis symptoms, and within 3 days its gone, with a day or two to recoup, and there is a lingering, very slight cough. No phlegm. I hope Adam has this one because he will recover quickly.
I thought I had bronchitis and was preparing for the worst, with lingering symptoms for months. So happy it was a total of 5 days, with 2 really bad days.
