Adam Lambert Launches First Single From ‘The Original High’ Album
By Pre DV - March, 20th 2015  Glamberts, listen up! A brand new single in Adam Lambert’s latest album “The Original High” finally drops in next month! Read on for more details. Lambert, for the past years, has been quiet about the album avoiding questions about his next album during interviews, however, that snappily changed now that he has been talking about it more often. During his 33rth birthday in January, the “American Idol” alum announced that his 1st single will be out this April. On his recent interview in Australia, the Lambert discussed the album, which is a follow-up of his current album “Trespassing” released in 2012. Adam, adding on his revelations, said that the newest album is a lot more experimental compared to what fans are used to hearing; however, he promised that the album still has that undeniable energy and he is so much excited about it. “I’m so excited. I created this record with Max Martin and Shellback as the two executive producers – we’ve been working on it for over a year,” he told Press Party. As Movie News Guide previously reported, the singer spent 2 months in Stockholm, locked up in a studio just to give fans a “fresh” new album that’s reportedly totally different from his previous tracks. “It’s kind of a new sound and a new energy, and I’m excited for people to hear it.” he added. Lambert had been very busy as he recently went on a world tour as the frontman for rock band Queen. Just this month, he returned from a sold out concert in Europe. Just Jared previously reported that Queen will open Rock in Rio Brazil’s “30th year Celebration” edition slated in September. Are you excited for Adam Lambert’s new single coming this April? IMHO it was not in the same league. Very good but a universe apart. I didn't like any of the performances last night. Maybe it's just me and my tolerance level is low but these singers just don't cut it for me. The voice contestants this season are a lot better, IMO. That version of Mad World was not anywhere in the same league as Adam's version. I agree. As much as I love Joey I cringed when she said she was doing Mad World because I knew it would come up short when compared to Adam's version and she's far to unique and talented IMO to suffer such a comparison.

Thanks so much Q3, Glitter and PattiHum for the info. Since, I don't stream and really don't want to stream...other than to help Adam...I'm not gonna worry about streaming for the single. I will buy from Amazon and Itunes. Come album time....I might do some streaming if made simple and easy.... in addition to buying at both Amazon, Itunes and at Walmart. I figure I can buy 10 CDs to give away a lot easier and more stress free than doing 15,000 streams on my PC. Bama, try rdio. It is so easy and doesn't have the "very busy" pages that the other services have.  I never streamed either but I now have my own playlist from rdio. Currently giving spins to Tove lo and Tori kelly!! So easy! Thanks...I might try rdio. Do you have to pay to be ad free? Does it count the same as Spotify? I have Sirius in my car which I hardly ever use.. a built-in HardDrive to DL and store digital songs , etc..... but, I much prefer to stick a CD in the slot. |

I feel the same way. Adam's Mad World was epic. The fact that the song is still associated with him tells you all you need to know. Will anyone remember Joey's version in five years? IMHO it was not in the same league. Very good but a universe apart. LOL! I was watching an episode of Futurama (Season 10 on Netflix) yesterday and the opening joke (every episode starts with one) was Multiverse-related: "Rated #1 Show In Universe 3". As you said, Joey's MW might be #1 in some other universe, but not in ours. |
