Not that is matters, just curious...which Adam fan site? This one, haven't you noticed some of the less than enthusiastic reviews here? She is just commenting on how weird it is that the fans have mixed reactions but the non fans seem to be embracing it enthusiastically. Curious if anyone has gone on other Adam fan sites and saw the same mixed response. Anyone?

Wow what a day!!! A truckload of top 40 adds! One lone Canadian top 40 add, and it happens to be the other top 40 station in my city!!!! (not the one that premiered GT yesterday, another one! Woot!)
And a music video!!!!!!
I think the video is slick, sexy and gorgeous; very appealing. Fits perfectly with the mood of the song. I love it!!!
(But I will say it doesn't strike me as particularly innovative. Not that it isn't sharp & edgy, but I don't find it mind blowing & I think I was expecting something of that nature, after all the hype about Hype, lol.)
But who cares about that! I love it regardless. I don't watch videos anyway & I'm not the casual viewer to whom the video needs to speak! I think it's perfect for the job it needs to do. And did I mention it's gorgeous? :D

Ok, here's my take on the video. It is cutting-edge and new. Haven't seen another one quite like it. I intend to watch it many times as I'm sure many Glamberts will, too, along with millions more. HOWEVER, I wish the visuals had more to do with the lyrics. I love the lyrics of this song. They are crying out to tell a story, but there is no story. Just random dancing. I love the first few seconds of the ghost town-y scenes, and I was hoping it would have a kind of narrative. But no. Parts I love: Adam's "Elvis" moment. Very cute and sexy. All close-ups of Adam. Also love all parts with Adam dancing, but there just aren't enough of those moments. The quick cutting is very cool, but kind of chops it up. I am going to support Adam as I have always done and I'll give the video all the hits I can. I do like it. Just wish it told the story that is lurking in there somewhere. I think the point of it is that there is no specific story. Adam was clear he wanted it that way. He felt everyone would layer their own interpretation - their own story. I think it was deliberately not leading us anywhere. I loved that about it.

Well, as someone who belongs to the "We love 'story' music videos!" group, this one isn't exactly my cup of tea. That said, I'm really glad so many people love it! And - yep - I'm sure it will look great in the clubs. #gladvideoisout #hopethenextonehasastoryline

I watched it once and haven't gone back to watch it again. I think it's a bit Frantic and Schizophrenic, exactly just like Adam describe Ghost Town. I will go watch it again tomorrow.
I adore Adam, from the beginning, but for me this does not showcase his voice. I feel the song tails off and is repetitive. I agree with the Hype Williams name dropping. Maybe live performance will be different. The Hype Williams namedrop really doesn't bother me. RedOne has been doing it for years. I think, for Adam, it's such a coup to have Hype on board his project that having it blatantly advertised in the video is like a pat on Adam's back. I'm sure that, along the lines of Max Martin, Hype Williams has worked with so many greats that he doesn't just take on any old project; the fact that he wanted to work with Adam just validates Adam's great reputation among those in the industry. It's great that Adam has someone so renowned producing his video, and it's cool to know that someone with such a great rep wanted his name plastered on Adam's project.

I loved the video. To me, it was artistically captivating and so Adam.
