Wow what a day!!! A truckload of top 40 adds! One lone Canadian top 40 add, and it happens to be the other top 40 station in my city!!!! (not the one that premiered GT yesterday, another one! Woot!) And a music video!!!!!! I think the video is slick, sexy and gorgeous; very appealing. Fits perfectly with the mood of the song. I love it!!! (But I will say it doesn't strike me as particularly innovative. Not that it isn't sharp & edgy, but I don't find it mind blowing & I think I was expecting something of that nature, after all the hype about Hype, lol.) But who cares about that! I love it regardless. I don't watch videos anyway & I'm not the casual viewer to whom the video needs to speak! I think it's perfect for the job it needs to do. And did I mention it's gorgeous? :D I agree -- slick, sexy and gorgeous. **** I am pretty sure that they did not want to be innovative or leading edge -- Adam wants a mainstream hit and mainstream success. I don't think Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" was innovative but it was popular. 925,074,424 views popular. **** Have fun watching "Ghost Town" or not. As you wish. In the meantime, I still LOVE IT!

I just watched the video for the first time. I like it but for me the best part is the beginning shots of the ghost town. It might be because the guitar playing is my favorite part of the song. Oh, and I liked the ghost eyes on Adam when the rest of him fades. It's very arty but my favorite video remains FYE.

Is there a slow motion version of the entire GT video yet? I want to study each part!

There's so much goodness today! Something for everyone -- add's, video, radio, tweets, interviews. For me it's feeling the "Original High" of being on the Adam journey at the beginning (the Idol beginning) with anticipation of all good things to come... tours, radio-play, TV performances and interviews, etc. I love all of it! (When it's not making me sick with anxiety. I love a lot about the video but I also understand the other points of view. We're all different and experience Adam's gifts uniquely. What I love most about this video is seeing Adam's love, loyalty and admiration for his friends -- and knowing that he is so excited to share their talents with us. And they love him so much!

I thought I would see a real ghost town. I thought I would see that raven and that bridge and the broken Hollywood sign. Isn't that what this song was supposed to mean? Dreams of dying; just like Bodie or Old Hollywood.
But that was too easy! Too conventional. Too understandable and predictable.
Feel like I entered the art gallery and walked into the unexpected wing; and while I love paintings of landscapes and flowers and distant horizons - (which I somehow understand), instead I'm brought into the room filled with abstracts, mood, gray color, angles. Art I don't understand. Yet, I stay and wander through it again. It's intriguing. I get the decay . . . the beauty, the emptiness of beauty in the discarded. I'm waiting for the story - the narrative of this Ghost Town. Then it hits me. There is no narrative when your heart is a ghost town.
Finally! Someone has seized on the beauty of Adam Lambert. Someone has noticed his eyes; his laser eyes; his hooded brows; his facial bone structure; his posture and his beautiful, physical form. I have nothing but praise for the naturalness of the lighting on Adam as the video begins. It so compliments his stunning, unadorned, voice.
There are moments in this video that take my breath away. When he bends backwards; superimposed on the dancer who does the same; when he snaps his fingers; when he pulls the collar up and transforms into someone else, in a second - right there! - before us . . .
Yes, someone seized Adam and found his eyes and his art. I'm still not sure of how to interpret it or how to love it. I certainly didn't expect it; didn't see the beauty of the dancers, or expect them in a 'Ghost Town' of the soul. Are these Adam dreams? They certainly aren't mine . . . but that's the bliss and the magic of music, art, creation. Yet, they beckon my curiosity and I watch again, and again. It's beautiful. He is beautiful. And the music is hypnotic; especially as paired with smoke and bodies; exquisite bodies in motion. Most exquisite of all is Adam.
Wow. My heart is a ghost town.

Not crazy about the video but it doesn't matter. Ghost Town is a mind bender. I think this will be Adam's first #1 hit, will get him a Grammy, and will be played for years. I am crazy about Adam and I cannot wait to see him sing this when he makes the rounds of TV shows. He looks amazing and sounds amazing. I think Adam's 30's will be epic. Hopefully by his 40's he will be in love and have a house filled with kids and dogs. My wish for Adam.
