To all my "words with friends" friends:My ipad died and so I am taking it in this afternoon. I just bought it in December. Anyway, it may take a day or two before I am back in the game, but I'll be there eventually... another addiction that some of you on this board got me into... Damn. Hurry back. Brought from end of yesterday's thread as it made more sense here: I thought about this, and Adam's response, and the fact that they had probably intended to be funny and have Adam laugh with them, and emailed a short, and rare for me, letter to the editor: , BRAVO!! This is the type of response I believe in. Succinct, clearly written, to the point. Strong and centered. Ending with 'cheers'..a good day to y'all. If I was on the receiving end of this message, I would read it. It opens doors, not closes them. It draws a line of acceptability firmly without alienation. This is how change will come IMO. I applaud this response!!! Adam gave the bitch slap that was needed as these inappropriate gay slurs were hurled at him. You have supported Adam in a very positive way by the way you conducted yourself. Brilliant! J/S  |
