Adam Fucking Lambert is playing in Quebec on my fucking birthday. Yes he is. BRB, need to let the family know what the gift will be. ETA: It is one of those b'days that you dread. This made it a tiny bit better One of my best friends lives in Kichener. She stayed with me a few months ago, I think I'll return the favor. Off to Mapquest how far it is. Actually, I think her in-laws live in Montreal. Any bed will do. LOL. We have close friends in Montreal. Will def have to drive up (only about 4 or 5 short hours from me).

I love Canada but poutine is not on my fav list. Not a fan of the gravy or curds. (There is a quite good lobster version now that I do like -- but no gravy or curds involved. So fake poutine.)

Anyone have a recommendation on which airport in Montreal would be the best for flight destination, just in case?

Angelina Kalahari was on Juneau and Xena's radio program this evening. I didn't announce it because it was not supposed to be about Adam this time, but about the phenomenon of child singers who get all kinds of fame on YT and reality shows. However, Angelina started by talking about her radio show and her attempt to get more people in the UK aware of his incredible voice and talent. She said, "All other voices, including really good opera voices, to me, pale by comparison." She is really a champion of Adam's voice, and is determined to have some references to Adam in all her programs. Yay for her! Then, she went on to talk about kids, fame, and what it does to the voice. I thought it was interesting. Very knowledgeable lady and pleasant to listen to. So, if you are looking for something to listen to, check it out at onthemeaningofadamlambert.wordpress.com/. Click on blogtalk radio link on the right hand side of the page. Angelina starts talking about 8 minutes in, if you want to go directly to her portion of the show.

Delurking to say thanks for the many happy birthday wishes today. They were much appreciated. I love Atopers! I spend most birthdays alone as I'm not close geographically to my kids / grandkids, but with Atop, there's always great conversation...and Adam appreciation, of course.
I did enjoy my quiet day with my dogs (Amber is settling in and has learned her way around my house / yard despite being blind) and appreciated the sun! Received phone calls and cards and flowers, too, so it was all good!
