I love Canada but poutine is not on my fav list. Not a fan of the gravy or curds. (There is a quite good lobster version now that I do like -- but no gravy or curds involved. So fake poutine.) You guys....how can you say that!!! It is sooooooo good!! Good grief you will eat insipid white gravy over a white tasteless biscuit and then don't like poutine!! sacre bleu......good grief.....unbelievable......

In North Mississippi there is a great specialty -- biscuits with chocolate gravy. Hot, flakey, just baked biscuits covered with the richest, dark chocolate sauce you can imagine -- and it is served from breakfast. Now that is the way a biscuit was meant to be eaten. Not sure what that have to do with Adam except that IF he know about chocolate biscuits maybe he would come back to Mississippi for a concert!

Delurking to say thanks for the many happy birthday wishes today. They were much appreciated. I love Atopers! I spend most birthdays alone as I'm not close geographically to my kids / grandkids, but with Atop, there's always great conversation...and Adam appreciation, of course. I did enjoy my quiet day with my dogs (Amber is settling in and has learned her way around my house / yard despite being blind) and appreciated the sun! Received phone calls and cards and flowers, too, so it was all good! LACEYROSEHAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!! I didn't get the chance to read the first part of the thread today so I missed that this is your big day! Atopers really do know how to send the love, don't they? So great that you received many good wishes!! Including mine now..

However, I am willing to try it. I have never had biscuits and gravy and I think I will pass on it. I am too fond of biscuits and cane syrup and butter. Now biscuits and choclate sounds interesting. Even more nteresting is biscuits, syrup and Adam Lambert. So happy for Russia and Canada, but I so need another biscuit syrup sopping AFL concert in the South.
