just caught up on the thread.... I always feel like I should put a scroll disclaimer so here it is... ______________SCROLL ALERT_________________ 1. the Q102 poll? what a waste of time and energy. meaningless, stupid and clearly just mean to get hits for the stations website. If Adam wins who cares? If Clay wins who cares? at the end of the day this poll means jack squat. ----- 3. I think Adam and Co are endorsing Haley because she's the best singer they've had this season. She's a good performer and she's gotten shit on by the judge's consistently despite her superior vocals. I don't think there is some ulterior motive, especially by RCA artists (Kelly and Adam) to endorse an artist who won't even be signed to the same label. back to your regularly scheduled programming ;D I agree strongly on #1, can't wait until this poll is over. I'm scrolling, scrolling, scrolling a lot here and on twitter. It's interesting how the fandom hive mind works sometimes and puts all their energy into one thing vs. another. But obviously people must find it fun. Hopefully soon it will be done and maybe Aftermath can make the Q102 count-down more often which seems to me a tangible and useful result for Adam and our effort. I do vote and request religiously when there is a benefit. For those who heard FYE on the radio or unexpectedly are hearing other Adam songs played more on the radio, I'm curious as to what station/location? For awhile I requesting Aftermath Remix daily to my local station. Of course they didn't play it, but they did play WWFM or IIHY pretty much every time I requested instead, which they hadn't been doing much before. And am not inside the idol bubble enough to make any judgement on #2 though I sincerely trust Adam means what he says about other artists (even though we don't always share the same tastes). Regarding requesting Aftermath Remix (or any other song) -- if a station doesn't have it on a countdown vote or on the playlist, the request is not worthwhile except when a song if just released. Most of the WWFM and IIHY spins are on AC stations and some on HAC stations, very little activity on Top 40 stations. So it depends what radio format you listen to. A few Top 40 stations played WWFM in the past couple of weeks because Ryan played it on AT40 a week and a half ago. Regarding the comment about Idol promotion and Haley -- I believe that Adam is being honest about loving Haley's performance but Adam unquestionably participates is both Sony and 19 promotions. Check out the dates of his tweets for both Sony and Idol big promotions -- timing is perfect. And because Adam is gracious and helps people he believes in, he gets support back. Nothing wrong with that -- it is just how things work.

But this year's contestants will have nothing to do with Sony.

OT and personal - scroll if you are not interested Hey all Well today's been a big day for me all round, but tomorrow is gonna be HUGE. Right at this very minute at the end of a VERY long day I currently have breast cancer - BUT - in just over twelve hours, I won't - that = a HUGE win Yup, tomorrow morning (for me) is my big day for a partial mastectomy and in all honesty I am so shit scared it a'int funny, but I am still thanking the universe for making my doctor 'bully' me into going for a mammogram just seven weeks ago. I've only ever had one before around ten years, or so, ago and have been given forms to have others done at regular intervals over the years - which due to life circumstances, I ignored or was always to busy to do. Good luck with your surgery. I'll be thinking of you.

And Constantine writing about James winning the whole thing also ? Is there a reason then why the former idols aren't consistent in who they support ? So when Adam first support Jacob, then Pia, then Haley it's somehow tied to (possibly) something else ? What about the ones who supported Cassie ? I am totally confused here Q3 ??? ??? ???

Maybe JLo and Steven were "cautioned" to not to be too good with their judging because it would work against the producer's choice of winner?
It's probably why Steven stopped talking as much as he did during the auditions - too much f-bombs and sexually inappropriate talk. IMHO, I guess Steven figured that if he can't say what he wants to really say, then he might as well clam up, keep his real opinion to himself, and get that damn book out to the public, hence the beautiful this and beautiful that remarks. LOL!

I'm so late!!
Catzmadam, I hope you know how much I'm pulling for you. It sounds like you are attacking it early enough and that is good. Positive energy and lots of love, and I can't wait to hear from you when it's all over.
