Yesterday I had a very nice and surprising experience. I was hiking when suddenly my cell phone notified me of a text message. I checked it out - it was from my boss, on a Sunday! We usually message using an in-house IM system during the week, and I rarely get a text from him on a weekend. Expecting a work-related problem in need of a solution, I read the message.... Imagine my surprise when I read the following: "This song was playing on the radio and we loved it. My heart is a ghost town. And we looked it up and its Adam Lambert". He knows I am obsessed interested in Adam and wanted to share his regular listener experience.  He lives in LA, btw. It made my day! Well, he's not my boss but this just made my day too!! These are the kind of stories that make me believe this album is going to do great!!!! Thank's for sharing!!!!  |

Adam Lambert IMHO is world wide known.. both for his music and for his Charisma..Having a hit record.. Tove lo may have momentary fame who knows??.. Adam is a bit of a household name.. the answer to crossward puzzles,the American Idol,The Queen lead singer,The grammy nominee , the Glee actor,the First gay artist to have a BB200 #1.. and Tove lo.. what a song, a new album Let's see about longevity.. Maybe It's just me .. but Adam is much more famous in my book.  |

If they had not done the song together, would anyone actually put Adam and Tove Lo in the same sentence? **** I don't know about strategies, and commercial, rumored or real friendships, and really nothing about who is the bigger star. What I do know is that I went to a Tove Lo concert and she blew me away. Real, live, raw, fun, sexy, danceable music. I have never seen Adam perform before last year, but she reminded me about the 'early Adam' I saw on youtube. So intense on stage, showing and baring herself (in more ways than one  ) and taking us on a journey with her. I had a blast! And she made me realize that yes, you can be sexy as a woman without apologies, without using it to sell music, just because you want to be. And to bring it back to Adam: I would love it if they would tour together, but they would have to extend the evening. Half a show of either of them isn't enough. To see them both on stage together though... that would be so much fun! Ah... and her album isn't too shabby either. Check it out if you can tear yourself away from TOH for a moment! And don't shuffle it, she tells a story. *Tove Lo pimping over, promise I'll go back to Adam again* |
