Wow! This is early! Could Adam be ahead of schedule? RCA didn't do David Cook's behind the scenes stuff this early (I don't think.) :-/ Maybe a summer single is possible! Oh please, please please! I want a late July single so badly!!! I read where someone said Q3 didn't expect a single for another 4 months, but couldn't find the original post. Why does she think it will be that late? A summer single could could play into the "Behind the Music". Does anyone have a clue what he might play at the one off shows? Single is expected late summer -- that would be August -- so only 3 months away. July release with a radio push in August would be perfect. Adam said the album will be out in November. So August-November is nice timing.

It's interesting to read the last couple of pages here, because as I was driving today, I thought of an album title for Adam #2. I had to pull away from the "realness" theme, because it wasn't inspiring me, LOL. So I started to think about the journey Adam has been on, and how much he has talked about change and growth. Also thought of his "sacred lack of reality giving me new perspective" tweet a while back. And most of all, I was thinking of all the trials and "gates" he's gone through, and the scrutiny he's been under, and the judgment that has been levelled at him. Not to mention all the hate directed his way, just because he is who he is. Not to be all melodramatic, just being real. So I thought of the title-- Stations On My WayAnd yeah, definitely a religious reference there, not only because it's apt, but also it's pretty current in pop music. And of course, it would be controversial, and it wouldn't be Adam if it didn't stir the pot, right? But also I was thinking of all the radio stations Adam visited while on promo and on the tour, lol, so there's that meaning as well. And he definitely needs stations to play him, in order to "be on his way" to success... And lest you think my angst bias is showing, but he could also do something really funky and cool and optimistic for the cover. Like, maybe a photo of him standing barefoot in leather pants and a hippie-style top, hitchhiking on a highway. #Realness Okay, that concludes my dissertation.

Absolutely not! I think both of them should be able to put out the type of music and videos that they want to! Gaga's videos are okay with me, just like Adam's song about rough sex was fine with me! I'm all for the risque! ;D IMO, FYE was a great pop song and I always wished that the backwards PDs would have given it a chance at radio play. The video for FYE is my favorite out of the four that Adam made for the album. Adam may push the boundaries for some people, but he RARELY (if ever) pushes them with me. :D
Expected by who? What if their beliefs are that homosexuality is a sin? Should I respect that belief? What if I don't believe that the Bible is inspired? Many believe it is a history book. The Judas video could be looked at as one that is depicting a fictional story. Actually, I think the video was low on the offensive scale as far as Gaga videos go. Many were surprised at how non-offensive the video was. The PDs and religious listeners were having a problem with the song before the video came out. The video seemed to calm some of the outrage due to the fact that it was rather mild. I can't blame Gaga for trying to push the boundaries, just like I don't blame Adam for trying to do the same. Both of them have had some success and some failures. I like artists who aren't afraid to push things!

Stations on My Way. Interesting. What's fun about this guessing is that probably we will all be so wrong. However, what Adam comes up with will be so obvious and so perfectt.

I am hoping for a summer single and an XFactor performance! (I can hope, can't I?) I want to hear the new music in Montreal. No, I won't be there, but I mean on You Tube!! I am only basing my opinon on the timeline I saw for David Cook. Same label, so maybe I'm not completely offbase. :-/ Waiting for Q3's expert opinion. (I've been shot down before. I can take it! I'm not skeeeerd!) ;D There is a chance that Adam will do one or two new songs in Montreal. But I doubt he will debut his new single up there. I would expect a TV showcase debut for the single. On the singles --- RCA released two singles before FYE -- they are very likely to release a single before Adam #2 goes on sale and watch what happens. If they have a big hit, they will not release a second single. If they have a song that Top 40 radio does not play or that burns out fast, they will release a second single. The ideal situation is that Adam has a song like WWFM that can last months on the radio like Katy Perry has had -- 4 #1 songs in a row and one the radio for over a year straight -- all evenly spaced. A less good situation is what is happening to Lady Gaga -- UMG has planned their biggest release of the year in BTW -- the first single burned out fast, Judas peaked at #10 and is dropping even faster. They will need to release a third single at some point -- and start praying. The album is sure to go platinum but they have a ton on money in Gaga and that album -- they need much more than platinum. Cook and Adam are with the same label and share RCAEd -- I think that is all they have in common. There is nothing to be learned about what RCA will do with Adam's promotion from looking at Cook's promo. I think the online product strategy may be similar and we may get a platinum Adam product -- something in the >$200 very limited edition item. Similar to the Cook guitar + CD + DVD bundle. I sure hope so. ETA: Timing I am hearing is still single in August (that could be radio impact date not on sale date) and album in November. ETA #2: I was in meetings all day and just realized that Gaga release the third single today. Work is burying me right now! ETA #3: Never trust Twitter -- the new Gaga song is not her new single and it is not getting that much radio play. It is an pre-album release single -- not intended for radio airplay. There will be another single before the album releases. They are trying to hit 1 million album units in week 1 in the US alone.

Jeez - they're she's really slapping them out! No time to savor any of them (if one were in a mood to savor Gaga songs that is). This* one sounds so similar to lots of songs in the past. The only good thing I'll say is the lady can sing. She does have a good voice. * speaking of Edge of Glory I wonder if Adam will tweet (yet again) how much he loves this one. this song (Edge of Glory) is longer than Aftermath Remix and radio has been playing it all day according to twitter..we thought stations wouldn't play Aftermath because of the length..guess it wasn't the reason If Adam had Gaga's sales and radio popularity, they would play a 5+ minute song for him too. And Judas was dropping on the charts before they released the video -- had nothing to do with the religious meaning IMO -- Judas has no hook. Try to sing it without playing it. There is not one hook line to sing -- just that repeating Judas nonsense. It was a bad song and production will no fix a bad song.
