Just a gut feeling, but if this is a falling out with Monte, I bet it isn't about not attending a gig, but possibly Monte's participation with either playing or writing with Adam on Adam #2. Gotta agree here. Maybe Adam has not liked what Monte has provided, because he has provided some songs. I was thinking the same thing because I haven't seen Adam tweet anything about he and Monte making music together in the studio like he has with others he's collaborating with on Adam 2. I hope things get worked out if anything did happen and that Monte will be going to Russia and Canada with Adam. |

I remember her getting pissy at Monte on Twitter one time, maybe during the tour. I thought it was really weird but attributed it to hormones !!! |

All this stuff sound a lot like what went down with Logineau and his girlfriend doing all that tweeting as he was leaving the GNT. Whatever happened with that, Adam left the impression that He and Logineaus were splitting on business terms and there were no hard feelings. I can't imagine what event would cause Adam/Monte to part from being friends.

Ok - I'm busy having a fantasy where all four of those children are sound asleep in their beds, Lisa is downing a large glass of red wine, while Monty and Adam companionably talk things over on the phone.

All this horribleness is making me feel sick. Yeah, ditto. I try to be a realist, but I like hearts & flowers and people getting along. Drama sucks. Bottom line for me, though, is that I'm here for Adam. And you said it beautifully earlier today on Twitter. Adam has a good heart. I believe that with all my heart. I don't expect to know all the details of the shit that goes down behind the scenes. But I will support Adam, because I believe in him. End of story. |

I agree and that's where it gets to be a sticky wicket working with friends. I think this makes the most sense. The gig may just have been a loyal wife's excuse for venting some frustrations about the larger issues. Unwise. Unwise. And it's something I'm really sure Monte himself would never do, whether or not he felt disappointed in any aspect of their relationship. But-- it's all speculation. And I'm going to try to stay focused on Adam. He's the only one I really care about. ETA: just saw your post above, NoAngel. We are of one mind on this. Adam has a track record. he has shown himself to be a good person. That is all that matters. |
