Seems like she was tweeting about Adam. Adam has not attended any of his bandmates’ concerts. (Please correct me if I am mistaken.) Although he has attended concerts of his friends. And when Adam was on tour, he rarely socialized with Monte or anyone from the band except Tommy Joe. He did socialize with the dancers. So being angry about Adam not attending Monte’s concert seems unlikely.

It could be related to Monte’s concerts, Adam not using Monte’s music on Adam #2, Adam no using Monte as a session musician on Adam #2, or the full moons over Saturn.

By the time this is posted, we may know the whole story. Or we will find out there was no story.

This incident started me wondering about the balancing act Adam has to deal with.

Late last night I was thinking about what Adam tweeted about his fandom embracing his friends and family – and was going to find that tweet when Cookie posted the tweet. (Mind reading, eh??)

The balancing act that Adam has to deal with is quite a challenge. He is really lucky to have a family and friends who love him. He also seems to build respect and loyalty with the people who work with him and for him. And that is where the balancing act becomes really hard.

I have no idea what is going on but that will not stop me from speculating --- so here goes --- starting with some facts:

• Monte and Adam worked together and co-wrote songs for Citizen Vein.

• They recorded songs on an independent album that is still unreleased. (AKA “Take 2”)

• Adam has said this music does not represent who he is as an artist right now; Monte put some of these songs on YouTube briefly before they were pulled.

• Monte said he planned to submit songs for Adam’s second album.

And now for the speculation…..

• Let’s just say that Monte submitted some songs for Adam next album and Adam did not want to record demos of the songs, the disappointment and rejection would be hard to take.

A balancing act. How could Adam reject these songs without hurting Monte and Lisa? It’s not possible but Adam must work to ensure that his next album is great. His entire career, and the fate of his next tour, rests on this album. If he compromises on the album, he could compromise his entire career.

There are so many reasons that I love Adam that it is hard to pick just ten. But here is my attempt.

#10 He speaks his mind.
#9 He has a great sense of humor!
#8 He is Adam Fucking Lambert!
#7 He knows how to dress and shop!!!


#6 He is a Twitter-master

He can entertain fans for hours with just his iPhone and the word “Twitter-party!!” He regularly makes “Celebrity Tweet of the Week” columns. But he makes me love him is how he using Twitter as a direct PR tool. Adam has proven that a simple communications tool, when used with force, care and consistency, can help acquire, engage and retain fans, even between albums.

Late last night, Adam tweeted this ALF traffic builder, distraction tweet. (It did not distract many of the questioning fans!)

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Wednesday but this is not confirmed.

There are reports now that this concert will be entirely General Admission.

People who know the venue recommend buying tickets in the Privilege Zone which has standing room for 500 to 1000, closer to the stage, the bathrooms, and the vendors. But the PZ pass may not be offered.
