It's very possible that Monte will tour with Madonna. Isn't she starting a new tour shortly? Maybe Lisa doesn't care she might have burned bridges.
Most of Adam's friends are single. The Cherry's are newly weds. Monte is married and has been married for 5 years, so I think his friendship has always been different than Adam's other friends.

As someone who has followed Adam from the moment he was on Twitter, I thought I had some idea of how much he has pimped supported other artists/friends/random people. 14 pages of posts  We are a passionate group. I don't know for certain if there is a problem and/or rift between Adam and Monte, but I am still shaking my head this morning at what a complete IDIOT Lisa is for airing anything publicly. As a fan, I really have no desire to know all the details of who gets selected to work on Adam #2. This episode's been a good practise run though for Adam #2 because you KNOW we are all gonna have opinions. ;D |

Sigh. Sadz. 13 pages of this. Not even sure what to say. I, for one, have decided this is not an issue I need to or want to speculate about, become involved with, or perpetuate. It is a waste of my energy, a drain to my positive attitude, and it accomplishes nothing positive in my life or the life of others. Left alone, this will run its course in a matter of hours or days. I choose to not allow it any more time to disturb my thoughts, so I am off to accomplish something in RL. I'll join back in when we are chatting about new Adam music, concerts, harem pants or hairdos. Agree,... off to my real life and will check in after dinner. |

• In every friendship I've had since high school, there are a few major things that alter the dynamic of a friendship dramatically (with no one necessarily "at fault"); they are when someone is in the throes of a new relationship, when someone has experienced success that the other has not and when someone has new time demands and responsibilities they didn't have before. Most of learn how to work these things out when you're young and you understand. You wish your friend well and you're there when they need you. SusieFierce- Loved your whole post, but this part especially resonanted with me. Each of these things has played a part in changing some of my friendships from time to time, but Adam is facing all 3 of these at once. Given how close he seems to be to all of his friends, I don't envy him having to go through this, particularly so publicly. And Lynne, yes to this- All of this makes me feel for Adam in his new life of fame. You never know who is going to go off and publicly rant about you and your personal business on twitter, looking for sympathy or revenge or attention. And because you are famous, everybody is listening to what anybody might have to say about you and speculating without any real facts.
The irony of being publicly talked about behind your back. And at this point, the only reason that this is still public is that the fandom is still talking about it. Luckily, the principals and all of their related folks are currently not commenting in front of the internets. And in the end, Adam hasn't suddenly changed, and he will be fine, fine, fine. I have no idea, only some guesses. *I think Sauli would totally understand "fan service" IF Adam performs some songs where he FEELS the sexy is appropriate. If Adam chooses to do this and Sauli objected--I would imagine Adam might not accept that. I think Adam will do what he feels is natural to him. On the other hand, it may not feel natural to Adam. But I know he'll always want to be accepted for who he is and have HIS artistic choices respected. *I think there's a chance Adam may never provide the same LEVEL of "fan service" again, but will still want a guitarist who is totally okay with goofing around, having rock 'n roll fun with no inhibitions/judgments. I do NOT think Monte is homophobic in the least, but I often questioned his level of comfort with Adam's on-stage antics during GNT. Tommy, on the other hand, ENJOYED Adam's shenanigans. In other words, I don't know! But I want Adam to do what makes him happy--period. Tommy has been trying to earn a living with Monte doing small gigs, not on unemployment waiting for Adam to call...remember business is business. I'm sure if this is not resolved, Adam will have to find a new band that want's to work for 1 concert tour...maybe he's done playing with the bass player. Hoping the next album is all about the singing, not the antics! He's too precious to waste on a small fan base! Um, what are you talking about? Well then that would be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. So is Madonna adopting him and agreeing to support him for life then? And yeah, I hadn't even thought of the baby showers and gifts and attention she received from the love of Adam's fans. (And I don't want to, because it makes me mad >:(...) And a $65,000 KickStart? OMG. HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHAMELEON AND GLAMHAPPYMAMA!!!!
