One SNOL spin tonight. 2 on OHP. How many spins does that count as for SNOL and for OHP? Also, how many spins does Am Top40 count as? I know that my local Q102 in Philly carries both SNOL and Am Top40 and the Philly area has a pretty good size AI. |

I think the spin last week (on TWITTAMIX) was earlier. Still gaining AI though. It's not really reflected in sales in iTunes though. The big boost last time might have been a combination of the AI increasing and that hot songs position in iTunes. |

Believe it or not, I actually see a path to number #20 next week or the next, even if it gets passed! let me try  for this coming week: recurrents tonight: 25 - 2 = 23 (Andy Grammer, DJ Snake & AlunaGeorge, Guetta) Omarion drops below: 23 -1 = 22 Mendes passes: 22 + 1 = 23 Week of Aug. 23: no recurrents Little Mix and Steinfeld pass: 23 + 2 = 25 Week of Aug. 30: recurrents: Wiz and 5H 25 - 2 = 23 outside possibility FloRida drops 23 - 1 = 22 The Weekend passes 22 + 1 = 23 I seriously doubt GT will pass Silento, but even if it did - #22... plus TS single is coming...does she go to #1 in her first week? what am I missing? |

First, I don't think Seinfeld or Little Mix will pass in a week. Shawn will and frankly, deserves to! His single has been selling like hotcakes and US radio has been ignoring him.
So, GT starts at 23 this week, Shawn passes, which puts GT at 24.
Potential to either go recurrent or drop below GT by the 23rd are:
5th H, Flo rida, Omarion, Wiz. Another one I am watching is Silento. Hoping the bloom is off that rose.
And GT is up to #27 on the SIRIUS Hits One Playlist. << That all happened this past week!

First, I don't think Seinfeld or Little Mix will pass in a week. Shawn will and frankly, deserves to! His single has been selling like hotcakes and US radio has been ignoring him. So, GT starts at 23 this week, Shawn passes, which puts GT at 24. Potential to either go recurrent or drop below GT by the 23rd are: 5th H, Flo rida, Omarion, Wiz. Ok, so you and I have the same idea, the timing is the the key. If SIRIUS can bring the average daily spin increase up from about 20 to say 60 and above then GT is in a much better shape. I still think we need to see 3 digits in order to get out and stay out of the mid-20s for more than a few days... as far as "deserving" to be up - well, I am sure we all agree that NO ONE deserves to be up the charts more than our boy   |
