GT Platinum in Australia, #2 on ARIA chart and TOH #10 on ARIA album chart. Also TOH up to #11 on NZ Album chart. Wooo hoooo !!!! Platinum in Oz!!!! Now let's aim for double platinum!     |

Chart update from the Netherlands: I don't understand how they compose them. NL Top 40: #6 (from #6) Mega Top 50: #8 (from #3) Single Top 100: #11 (from #11) iTunes Top 30: #8 (from #6) SlamFM 40: #19 (from #16)  Last week I didn't quite understand where the #3 position came from and this week I don't really understand why it drops to #8 in the Mega Top 50. I did anticipate a drop, but frankly in all charts. Since the charts on Friday didn't drop I assumed just a little drop in the Mega Top 50 was realistic, but it dropped back to #8. It's weird since this chart has all elements in it (Airplay, downloads and streams). Airplay dropped some I think, downloads dropped as well, but for streams the position increased. However on the download + stream chart (Single Top 100) it held position. And it also held position on the Top 40 chart which is heavily based on Airplay + streams. In the Mega top 50 two songs who have been in the chart forever (Lean On - Major Lazer (23 weeks) and Stole the Show - Kygo (21 weeks)) gained positions while on the NL Top 40 those lost positions. It almost seems like they don't take into account the same period or something. O well. At least GT is gaining a bit back on iTunes now and is also gaining in Spotify. Hopefully Sky Radio will start spinning soon (although they added they haven't spun GT yet (also not Can't feel my face)). It seems like 538 is dropping a few spins here and there, but Q is still spinning nicely (6 today again). |
