I thought recurrent is 20 weeks and out of the top 10. Am I wrong? I just didn't know when Wiz came on the scene. I knew it was before GhostTown and I just somehow thought its day had come. Wishful thinking! You are correct! 20 weeks from entering Top 40. I don't use KWORB for recurrents, I use Pulse (not sure if they have the same info for it but Pulse has been 100% correct so far.) According to Pulse, WIZ goes recurrent on 8/30, but I think it will be below GT by then. Hoping it drops below by the 23rd So depending on 5th Harmony, there is a good chance for 22 or even 21 on the 23rd. After that, I don't see much movement above GT. GT needs to pick up spins to get into top 20. "GT needs to pick up spins to get into top 20. " Exactly! I see no way into top 20 with the anemic spin increases we've been seeing so far. Something will always jump ahead...we need to have three digit increases and those are not happening for some reason even though GT had a great adds run. imo: #23 is pretty much guaranteed, #22 is possible, I don't see #21 (5H is too high up in spins, by the time they drop out of top 10 something will pass GT).

Hardly anyone gets increases in triple digits. Today there are only 8 songs and 2 are in Top 10. Just more days in the 60-80 range would do it. IMO, 22 is certain (next week). After that, we wait & see! Some major stations have increased spins this week, so i am hopeful!

Do you think if GT gets right up to the top twenty there might be some WBR action to get over the wire even if it doesn't stick there long? There is just something about a top twenty song.

I'm wondering if there will be a push to coincide with the Volley Ball event since they are saying that he will do one song in the afternoon for broadcast. There could be other things lined up for that week that we just haven't been let in on yet. It would be another opportunity for a bump up on the Hot 100.
