I think there were a few factors that combined into a "perfect storm":
1. Singing for a full arena of people triggers the "infinity sign" energy exchange he loves so much.
2. It was also the familiar stage of his QAL concert "last year", which was this year really
3. He was singing in The Netherlands, one of the countries (besides Poland) where Ghost Town was an actual big hit, so I think he knew the audience would be on board and familiar with the songs (see 1.).
4. Singing only 3 songs means the "energy management" is different - in a recent interview he was asked about the hardest thing about touring, and he answered something along the lines of "managing my voice to deliver consistent performances". But when he has to sing only 3 songs on a festival night, he can put all energy in them without the need to distribute power across 2 hours and over multiple weeks.
5. The sound mix was stellar, and he sang over a familiar backing track without the need to keep connection with a whole band (which was there just for show). I think this made him more relaxed, as it eliminated the possibility of a human error outside of his control. 

There might have been other factors, too, but this is my speculation

I have never enjoyed WWFM this much, and ALN and GT blew me away, too! 

Wow!! Adam was fanfuckingtastic!!!!! So spoiled by the Queen shows, just want more time for him...lol!! After QAL going on for 2+ hours, 3 songs was just... Well, LOL, not going to say that, but I loved every second of it!!!! hahahaha

Something seemed different to me. He was so comfortable, so very gorgeous, and wailed like a MF!!!!! Wanted it to go on forever & ever! I hope someone capped it so I can watch again. I did see this on twitter & don't know if it's been posted yet.

I've been trying to keep up with everything Adam in the last few weeks, but it's been hard. We just got done with inventory at work, TG plus I've been trapping kitties again. I do TNR (trap, neuter & return) and have a feral colony here which I care for. Got 2 this week!! In all, I've trapped 6 and have 3 to go!! YAY!

Taking a break on the weekend to watch Adam & catch up with everything here. Also have a Husker (my college football team) game going on right now. I even missed a touchdown cause Adam was singing & I just couldn't miss that!!!

So, Adam, cats & Husker football...my 3 favorite things (besides my family, of course). My house needs cleaned so bad...blaming Adam for that one...lmao!! At least I'm not bored.

Did I say how amazing Adam looked? I love that new jacket!! And, I love the MV, too! Guess I hadn't commented on that. I certainly know lonely, but kinda like it most times. With all of you here, even though I'm home alone, I don't really feel that lonely.

I'm sure our Atoppers that were at the show today are in heaven after that show. Can't wait to hear what they have to say.
