If fans wanted to organize a bit -- there is a category that might actually be worthwhile --- Charity Song.... www.vh1.com/shows/events/do_something_awards/2011/Adam Lambert "Aftermath Remix" It would take a ton of online work. Anyone game to promote it? I've just tried it. You are right, it is a ton of work. It's not only a write-in nomination, you have to explain why. Even with c/p it is very time consuming. I don't know if it is a Canada bloc thing or just me but I could not even get anything to allow me to enter any info. It must be possible or even bot-able as there were a mess of votes for Gwen Stefani by the same person at the same time....js...

Just a last comment on the JD thing : I think JD being this unfiltered is because he thinks that since it worked for Adam and Ada was praised and loved for being super honest, JD probably thinks it would work for him too. Unfortunately, no one told him that that unfiltered mouth better be backed up with undisputed talent, charm, warmth and goodwill from media and fans. Adam SAYS he is unfiltered. Such is not the case. While it is true that he doesn't throw BS at us in interviews or blindly speak the party line, he is a master at answering the questions he wants to answer in the way he wants to answer them, while ignoring or diverting the questions he doesn't. He is adept at finding and focusing on the positive in any situation, while keeping the negative and any conflicts or disagreements far from the press. In his interviews he is generous, personable, articulate, and comfortable, but, make no mistake, he is in control of what he says and how he says it. Same with his tweets. One smart, savvy man. This, 1,000,000% Cassie. There is NO, NONE, ZERO comparison between James' social ineptitude and Adam's PR brilliance. Adam could teach top-tier politicians about interviewing. He says exactly as much as he wants and never makes a person feel stupid, even when they ask a stupid question that's been answered 500 times before. Adam TOTALLY has a filter. He may be extremely honest, but he knows how to couch his honesty to always charm and come out a the class-act in the equation. I also agree about the Durbin quotes going through the summer. Today, I just laughed. It seems to me that the interviewers know it's an Achilles heel with him and they give him just enough rope to hang himself. He bit again today (though, from what I heard, they didn't even ask the question), but of course, they're smart enough to put Adam's name in the title and the URL. All summer, we can just laugh and say, "Whatever, dude!" I think most of the Gaga discussion has been about the business aspects of the release, not the album itself, so therefore it is a commentary on the industry and totally relevant. It just happens to be the yardstick we are measuring with right now. And it's also an examination of sales strategies, etc.

That VH1 thing has me really frustrated. If you go to Music Artists, they have people who essentially autographed a few things and auctioned them to for charity. Jeeze, really VH1, are you going to pretend you're oblivious to the hundreds of thousands of dollars Adam has raised for DonorsChoose and charity:water and then then charity single for The Trevor Project?
And yes, the write-ins are confusing and time consuming.
With BTM being produced and VH1 berting all over Adam every few minutes, and of course, the BWE peeps, I find it hard to believe they are oblivious to what he's done for charity.

The date is Jan 24th 2011, so it is not a new thing? How come it came out now...? Or has it just been undiscovered earlier. It could have easily been discussed back then on a day when RL had my attention. RL????
