Adam is a social butterfly and thrives in that mode. He once said that he would observe his mom being a social butterfly and learned that skill from her. Just add that he is sunshine, and you have a person that stays engaged. Yeah and no. That is not an easily learned skill; it's an inherent quality. Sure certain people have a level of charisma and can hone it further, but if it were so easy, everyone with a modicum of commitment and personality would be able to emulate it. They can't. If they could, every politician and aspiring performer would be lined up to learn "how." Some people can get close very often, but charisma at Adam's levels come from (like the rest of his talent) an innate quality, plus a "great disposition," (as Leila has said), plus a lot of observation and training (what he learned from his mom and others) and a high level of social intelligence. All have contributed to very unique levels of charisma.

Haha....sorry to throw out that little 'bon mot' and then run....rl happened and I just got back!
I agree with you all in one way or another. Lee had every right to be p!#@ed and Nigil has the makings of a real nasty piece of business. And I suspect Adam would have been charming and made Nigil look bad and feel worse, and got some good pr out of it, to boot.
And yes, that is a rare and intoxicating quality....sigh....which is why we are all here.....sigh...really looking forward to some concert vids!!! Can we do it......????

In answer to the observation about meeting Adam, I met him after the Dallas Idol show and had about a 60 second conversation with him that felt like an hour. His aura is about 20 feet around his body, he projects his heart energy in an intensely captivating way.
I chose to spend my chance to meet him telling him how excited I was about his music, upcoming album, etc. He made direct eye contact with me and it was like the press of people around me melted away and it was just me and Adam having a conversation. I told him he was beautiful....
It was magical. He is magical. His eyes are the amazing things I have ever seen.
I am shameless in my adoration of him and this feeling only intensified after I had the honor of being face to face with him.
