did dubin open his mouth again? ok, lemme go look. No, it's just a silly blog by a fan. My policy is to ignore all Durbin stuff no matter how many times they namecheck Adam. If we starve them of clicks, maybe bloggers/reporters will move on to something else besides that ridic HeWhoCannot ameded up feud. |

I thought so too, until I pulled out my Queen CD. Hadn't listened to it in quite some time. What a surprise I got. Adam, IMO, is much better than Freddie. I have to confess that I haven't heard a lot of Queen, but from what little I have heard, I think Adam is better. Better tone and more control. The posters at DDD seem to think he's better. So now we just have to ask-- cassie, what do you think? Opinions vary and that's what makes the world a beautiful place. |

Billboard has very clearly separated the Amazon units from the rest of Gaga's sales in their reports. She set sales records without these $.99 sales -- which only occurred in the US. Amazon decided to do this campaign, not Gaga or her label. AMazon is promoting their new music cloud service. I do not think they expect to sell 550K units and bring down their servers, but they knew it was a 1 million unit week for this album. Katy Perry has 4 consecutive #1 international hits. Why shouldn't she tour? And this is a great tour slot for Robyn who is not that well known in the US. I think that Katy has kept it pretty real -- in spite of her success. Okay, now these kind of stats make for an interesting discussion. If Gaga has 10 million twitters followers and 1 million is sold in the first week with this more than huge promo, that's 10 percent. Now if Adam were to have similar sales from his greater than 1 million followers, that 100k sale the first week. Scarey numbers or bogus assumptions? Bogus assumptions. Twitter followers are worldwide, Gaga's sales of 1+ Mill lion are US. Many Gaga buyers do not follow her on Twitter. Each Twitter follower is not a unique person. Some Twitter followers are bots. Etc. etc, |

I listened to my Queen CD last week and I still feel the way I felt after first finding Adam....and I agree Mys*&@^#r....Adam's voice is better than Freddie's. JMHO. And I LOVE Freddie and the way he commanded the stage. But Adam, for me, just demands my total attention when he's on stage in a way that no other performer ever has for me. My dream is still to have Adam perform on stage with Queen songs to pay tribute to Freddie and, also, sing some of those songs Freddie wrote while too sick to perform any longer. I just think it is meant to be. And I would travel anywhere in the world to be there if it ever happens!! |

If I'm not mistaken the reason why they couldn't put Freddie's position higher in their list was because they don't have enough you tube for Freddie to analize. Adam is #1 for Best Technical Rock Singer. They have a lot of "best of" list and in some of them Adam didn't even make the list. And the mod for Adam's thread on DDD site said this I'm a HUGE fan of both, Adam & Freddie .. so I can not say one singer better than the other. ETA: During the AI competition people were dying to hear him singing/performing one of Queen song's, he didn't want to do it because he said he didn't want to "sounds a like" .. sounds like Freddie.. |
