That was a great interview. He sounds so grounded, just like our BB: "K: Has the crew around Adam, like the manager or something, given you any rules or something, how you need to behave? S: No, I haven't been given any advice like that. You get far by using your common sense." I read it too and enjoyed the whole interview.

OT
Q3 - I wast just peeking at MJs and she had the Memorial Day's concert with Kris/Pia. She said this concert usually draw 300K people. I was wondering whether this is a good even for Adam to draw new fans. If 10% of that concert attenders like his music they're likely to look for his next music.

Angelina Kalahari has posted a new article on her soundbath blog. It is entitled: Broken Open: Adam Lambert; The agony and ecstasy of singing. It is a great read! In it she says, "Of course we know that Adam is a magnificent, highly skilled, extremely intelligent, versatile, uninhibited, utterly fearless performer, that he is uniquely talented and enormously creative, that he is physically and spiritually unearthly beautiful, and that he is one of the most charming, charismatic, courageous and sensual humans ever to walk this earth, but for me, his astonishing vocal instrument is the thing I cannot get enough of. When I hear his voice, I find myself utterly captivated: I have to stop what I’m doing and give his voice my full attention – I never dare listen to his CD in the car! I experience his voice like a sound bath: it washes through every fibre of my being, and it feels as though the harmonics and frequencies in his voice massages all of me, right down to the very smallest quark that makes up my physical body, and right down to the tiniest wisp that makes up my soul. I have never had that experience when listening to any other voice before – I’ve listened to some pretty good ones and have had the privilege to be very close to some of the most beautiful and renowned voices in the world today, and I remain astonished by the effect Adam‘s voice has on me." Since we are all waiting for news about WITWICGAFL, check it out. soundbath.wordpress.com/2011/05/30/broken-open-adam-lambert-the-agony-and-ecstasy-of-singing/ Cassie - I could hear the beautiful, melodic Angelina's voice while reading her blog. Every word resonates with me. I was so glad she chose Placido Domingo as an example - by far my most favorite tenor- his voice penetrates me the same way Adam's voice does :D.... Thank you for bringing it here!

What interview? Last interview I saw with her, last spring, was really good. Do you have the link to a more recent one? Thanks! new RS magazine. Darn. I didn't renew my subscription because they were ignoring Adam's accomplishments. I wonder if it is on-line?

I take concert riders with a grain of salt because it is often a joke amongst artists that they deliberately put outrageous things in the riders just to see if they can get away with it. I've seen many interviews with rock bands where they are laughing themselves silly over the shit they thought up to put in their tour rider. It's like a game they play.
