No, it's just a silly blog by a fan. My policy is to ignore all Durbin stuff no matter how many times they namecheck Adam. If we starve them of clicks, maybe bloggers/reporters will move on to something else besides that ridic HeWhoCannot ameded up feud. THIS!!!

OT Q3 - I wast just peeking at MJs and she had the Memorial Day's concert with Kris/Pia. She said this concert usually draw 300K people. I was wondering whether this is a good even for Adam to draw new fans. If 10% of that concert attenders like his music they're likely to look for his next music. This concert was also televised on PBS -- so about 1 million more broadcast viewers. The one I would love to see Adam get to do is DC 4th of July. About 1 million people live and more on TV plus it gets picked up on the local news in many markets. It is not = to Oprah or even Ellen but it is a different audience.

Adam said his rider is water, energy bars, and tea for himself. Then he requests beer for the band. That sounds reasonable to me. Been reading Steven Tyler's book and their biggest request at every venue was a big fulllength mirror, on a table. Guess what that was for ?! Amazing the man is still alive!

I take concert riders with a grain of salt because it is often a joke amongst artists that they deliberately put outrageous things in the riders just to see if they can get away with it. I've seen many interviews with rock bands where they are laughing themselves silly over the shit they thought up to put in their tour rider. It's like a game they play. Everyone except Mirah Carey.. ;D ETA: I do not see anything in the RS Katy Perry article that makes her seem "too big for her britches." But I am a Katy fan so maybe not a great judge of it.

When Adam tweeted Slash yesterday, I was hoping that one day there will be some sort of collab there. It would be like Adam at Maxidrome. Respect from the same type of audience.

Q3, you seem to know a lot of people in a lot of different places. Maybe you can put a bug in someones ear and get the ball rolling. I would definitely attend that concert for one song. Actually thought about attending the Moscow concert. My kids wants to go back to their roots in Ukraine. We could have gotten the 2 visas each for each country and triangulated. Moscow - eastern Ukraine to /western Ukraine - Kiev, then back home. Awfully tempted, but with current real estate issues it was denied by hubby.

I'd just like to add my 2 cents worth.. despite not being ask. I think these shows are more about exposure than creating new fans. Its a nice gig for the right type of artist. A good gig for Kris. ITA with Q3 here that =/= Oprah or Ellen. Its a PBS show, I don't think it would be Adam's target audience. I tend to see Adam as a strong CHR with HAC leanings & Kris strong HAC with some CHR leanings. Sort of the same reason why Kris works well selling ford hybrids vs. Adam. Also completely agree about a 4th of July gig.

As I was watching these performances, I was thinking about whether or not any of these people would go look up a Kris Allen CD or single sometime this week and purchase it. My conclusion was "No." The show was all about the holiday, the Capitol, the servicemen, and patriotism. If any song gets downloaded, because of Kris' performance, it will be "God Bless the USA" by Lee Greenwood.
