Watching Adam on stage tonight was fabulous. It was so good to see him singing his own songs in a large venue. About 5 mins before the lights went down I looked around and thought there were a lot of empty seats, but I remember looking around one or two songs in and a lot of the seats had filled back up. As mentioned there were a lot of young children there and it had been a long day. Adam looked happy and relaxed and very at home on a larger stage.
Did I miss seeing his hair - of course - but he had such a sparkle to him tonight that it didn't matter. Was his outfit my first choice for him - no - but his persona comes through no matter what he is wearing and he draws you in. I was in the floor section and everyone around me was on their feet and loving every minute of Adam.
Someone from the radio station had told me that the set would be longer than published and unfortunately that was not the case. I wanted to hear Shady and The Light, but I will look forward to those live when we get TOH tour. I see this as a warm up or a teaser. Lucy, which has been one of my faves since day 1 was AMAZING !!!
My friend who dropped everything and came with me last min today had a blast and I think I can consider him a Glambert in training. We had close to a 2 hour drive home and I was the driver. I had him pulling up various videos of Adam and QAL and his jaw dropped.

and katielovesjoe91!!When Adam started Era 2 Performance, he would start with IIHY and would hit and hold this magnificent high note, that was my favorite version. It really let you know upfront what was to come. I think he does that with EITN.
Last night Adam dressed for his audience, in Vegas, he dressed for his audience...too opposite groups, haha. The boy knows what he's doing. But the voice is still the same.
