This is kind of weird. Kris made the soundscan top 200 last week with LLWD. Kris Allen, Live Like We're Dying (10,000, +5%, 1.665 million)What would cause that sales spike now? iTunes was selling a bunch of Idol songs for 69 cents, and LLWD was one of them,

WWFM was not on sale. Were any Adam songs on sale? (Dammit - I want IIHY to go platinum already!!) Nope, none of Adams songs were on sale. My guess is that the ones on sale weren't selling much, while Adam's continue to sell decently.

Do we have the current total sales of WWFM? LLWD is now at 1.665M. I think WWFM is higher no? It's continued to sell stronger than LLWD in the last several months afaik. And you don't have to point out the pettiness of this - I know it.

[grumbles] They would sell *more* decently if they were on sale!! True! A week of 10,000 in sales would be very nice for WWFM. I also notice every time I check out Adam's CDs in Target or Best Buy, his is always 13.99 while everyone one else is 9.99 or 11.99. Jazzrocks, yes, WWFM is almost at 1.8 million so it has sold more than LLWD. Considering how big LLWD made it up the Christian charts, it is quite surprising, in some ways. Well, not too surprising because I think WWFM is a great song.

Thanks myspenser. And I agree that WWFM is a great song. I've always been perplexed that it didn't chart even higher than it did. And (has nothing to do with Kris) I actively dislike LLWD. For me not catchy at all and too many words.
