on the brighter side - the album is seeing a little upward motion on iTunes lately. I suppose the RHPS brought it on, and may be the tour announcement coverage contributed too...

Maybe not giving up on Pop hope yet. It will move up from 3-5 spots tomorrow, depending on who gets purged. The recurrents might pull 2 of those back into 40. I have wached quite a few songs languish, then take off the past year. And we never can anticipate what a Top 20 position on HAC can do for it! It ain't over til it's over! So many songs dropping on the Pop chart. Looks like a demolition derby. ALN can't be purged because it never hit the top 40 right? So if it hangs around enough, I am with Patti. You never know. Especially if it can keep gaining traction on HAC

That's great---he is getting really good press for RHPS. I wonder what would have happened if they had waited on the video release for ALN until now and paired it with 1 or 2 TV appearances. With the tour announcement and Rocky Horror, there might have been more of an overall impact.

Still, if it isn't starting to show some movement on its own by mid Feb, I would move on

WBR is not pulling the plug on a song that is progressing so well on HAC! T here might be a video coming for TOH, for Oz, but IDK how they would release that? It'd be too early for the US & they seem to release videos on the US single schedule. Plus, when in the past few weeks would Adam have been able to film a video?

Ever wonder what detail labels and stations have? I found this which might be interesting. Here's is the Mediabase User Guide www.mediabase.com/mmrweb/mmrhelp/start.htm#Callout_Research.htmAnd since we discuss Recurrent rules I thought this was interesting. Seems a bit different than what we said? Mediabase Recurrent RulesThe Mediabase Recurrent rules vary my format, as defined below: Songs that are down in plays for three consecutive weeks and below No. 1 are moved to Recurrent. Country _______________________________________________ Songs that are down in plays for three consecutive weeks and below No. 15 are moved to Recurrent. Active Rock AC Hot AC Smooth Jazz Triple A Urban AC ________________________________________________ Songs that are down in plays for three consecutive weeks and below No. 25 are moved to Recurrent. Alternative CHR/Pop CHR/Rythmic Rock Urban

Did we know we could get RateTheMusic ranks on AllAccess? Men certainly have a different favorite list than women. Songs have to be in the Top 30 in the format in order to be tested so ALN only shows up on Hot AC. www.allaccess.com/rate-the-music?format=A2&demo=12%2B
