I am beginning to think it is a blessing ALN did not get into the top 40. If it continues to muck around just below where it is safe from purging for another week or two and: 1) keeps building on HAC 2) Adam is back and more buzz, sightings, interviews 3) hopefully more tour advertising and buzz from POP radio stations who conceivably might spin the song if they are giving away tickets (yes, dripping with sarcasm) then, it just might decide to climb more in February Yes! As a matter of fact, this morning I thought, that might have been WBR's strategy all along. (From IGs from Kenny Ortega, looks like the RHPS is filming in Toronto. So maybe no TV promo here for Adam until after Dubai. ) Today's Top 40 numbers are the bad news. But HAC! Yay! It is moving there on its own! Here's the good news! ALN will be #42 on tonight's Published Chart on Top 40. It will be #25 on HAC! WOOT! BTW, it so could have made 40 tonight if it had not "bled" all week! :( Analysis for upcoming week: Hook and Troye will pass early in the week. But next Sunday there are between 2-6 songs saying bye bye! 2 for sure = XAmb & Fetty (yes, its 9 lives will finally be up!) Excellent chance of 2 more = 4 gon, Meghan and Halsey Strong possibility Gwen is starting a fast nosedive = 5 gone If Daya drops below 10 (but probably not) she goes recurrent. But that would = 6 songs gone! (I don't want to jinx Adam, but I am watching Andy's numbers closely too.) Yes, but then ALN really needs to be in the positive mode or risk being purged.

But what would be worse, to get into the Top 40 for a week and then be purged, or to never hit Top 40?

But that would = 6 songs gone! (I don't want to jinx Adam, but I am watching Andy's numbers closely too.) I think by next Sunday all four (and not just two) artists currently in #47-50 will pass, which would place ALN back to #46. Then if your predictions of recurrents are correct then ALN will finish at #40-42. IDK who is below 50 now, because imo if ALN continues sliding those can pass as well... I have to say I am experiencing a whiplash coming here from the celebratory main thread... then I tell myself I should stay away but comes the next day and I am here... >:(

Dawin is a falling song, not a rising song & Posner doesn't move that fast. So, I don't think they will pass unless ALN continues in negative mode.

I've been a bit quiet on the numbers threads lately. Partly because I'm pretty busy with work, but mostly also because there is not much to report from the Netherlands on the numbers department.
GT is still being played, but not that much. This week some more again compared to last week (I count 23 plays on the radio stations for the charts this week against 13 plays last week). Radio stations also play WWFM quite often at the moment. SLAM also still plays ALN each Sunday twice and Lay Me Down every now and then (Nic suspects there might be a fan involved on that station). In Spotify GT is still getting about 11k streams / day on average in the Netherlands and it's hovering just out of the top 100 mostly. GT dropped out of the top 200 in Dutch iTunes after a little revival during the end of year charts.
What I do wanted to share is a Spotify update. GT is still doing around 200k/day on average. ALN increased a bit again from the year end and Christmas lows to 40k/ day on average now. TOH is slowly but steadily increasing plays since the start of the tour. TL dropped below TOH again, but is still the #4 song from the album.
All TOH album songs 7 day average: GT 201k (LW 204k) ALN 39.9k (LW 38.6k) TOH 7.6k (LW 7.6k) TL 6.7k (LW 7.3k) Rumors 5.5k (LW 5.3k) UG 4.7k (LW 4.8k) EITN 3.9k (LW 4.1k) TISI 3.7k (LW 3.7k) Lucy 2.8k (LW 2.8k) TIDS 2.7k (LW 2.7k) HF 2.2k (LW 2.2k) Shame 1.6k (LW 1.6k) AH 1.5k (LW 1.6k) TB 1.5k (LW 1.6k)
Total album streams passed 130 million this week! Now 131.166.432 streams!
Since the tour started some of the songs he is performing have also increased slightly in streams. WWFM (18.7k now, his 3rd song), Runnin' (11.5k now, his 4th song) and IIHY (9.3k, his 5th song) are good examples of them.

At the moment on the LivePopBars site. United States singles: 1361 Adam Lambert Another Lonely Night
GT still higher though: 1156 Adam Lambert Ghost Town
Dutch iTunes: 258 Adam Lambert Ghost Town 584 Adam Lambert Another Lonely Night
Guess those two plays by Slam today for ALN made some impact.

You know Google Play is giving away the album free? Why do you think they are doing that? Just as promo??
