But Were not good about waiting! Adam needs to come up for air and tweet something to keep Us out of trouble and distract Us!

bocababe You're right about being angry but in this tweet Sia said that she hasn't even started working with Christina yet, so how could she know about other collabs Christina probably had? I say let's wait. :D Well, she's currently working with Christina on "The Voice", so I'd imagine she knows quite a bit about what Christina has been up to. All she needed to say was that she herself didn't write a song for Adam and Christina, but she added that they weren't working together at all. It seems strange that she'd debunk the rumor without being sure about what she's saying. It isn't like it wouldn't be easy enough for her to ask Christina. It's not official word from either Camp Adam or Camp Christina, so I guess all is not lost, but IMO it ain't looking good. Unless RCA didn't want this info breaking so soon and didn't want the rumor to gain more traction, but at the same time didn't want Adam or Christina to flat-out deny it and risk looking like liars later, so they're using Sia to cool things down. Yeah, that's it...[/grasping at straws]

The Voice shows were taped a couple of months ago I think. I don't think they start the live shows until this week. Who knows what's taken place since Sia has seen or talked to Christina.

After two plus years of crazy rumors I've learned that if it doesn't come from Adam or RCA it's not worth getting worked up over.
I'd love for him to duet with Christina. If it happens great. If it doesn't okay.
Either way buzz for both Adam and Christina was generated and that's always a good thing since in the event that it wasn't scheduled to happen before all the excitement over it might spur the label on to getting them together now that they know how interested the fans are in this.

I think that it is highly unlikely that this collab is going to happen. That original tweet string is kind of murky and might have been tweeted by an intern after a game of telephone, or tweeted by someone who wanted to show someone else what happens when you stir the nest.

I could personally care less about a duet with X-tina. IMHO, she has a massive ego and would try to overpower Adam and riff him to death to shine the most. I think she has suffered from the Britney and Gaga career comparisons and does everything to show how great her voice is. A voice she has - but her humanity and persona are lacking. A little humility would go a long way. It is very possible with her last album and tour setback, may have humbled her some. But I doubt it. X-tina does not reach my soul as do many of the pop divas. Guess my male divo love is showing.

Yeah, I miss real record stores too! They were a part of my life as well. I can remember one of my gay friends from the nightclub we all hung out at worked in a record store and I would always go straight to Conrad and say 'whatcha got for me?'. I mean, he was ON to it. He knew I loved the lady singers - not necessarily the divas with the big riffs/runs, but who could entwine you in magic *le sigh* This lady was one recommendation he gave me and I have four of her albums (yup vinyl and CD's). She was a George Benson protegee I believe. Randy Crawford live... Imagine Adam putting his spin on it and doing this one *deadz* (so very sadly Conrad went years ago - a victim to Aids)My aunt worked in an old dusty record shop.. the atmosphere was part of the allure. If you forgot the name of the music you wanted, You could hum a few bars of anything from opera to,rock and my aunt would know the song instantly. I loved being able to go into a record booth and listen to new recordings, The store was like having a good friend.I spent hours looking over the record covers and hearing new music. My mom was there a great deal too,she studied opera and was always looking for opera scores. Some things should never disappear...........
