Why? They do not have the same management or label or even sing the same kind of music. They are not buddies. Why would or should Adam feel it is the right thing to do to meet with James? I mean he may... but Adam is in the middle of getting his second album together. I think he has plenty of other things to do. James has Idol people as advisors right now. He could talk to probably 10 professional and knowledgable people tomorrrow, if he chose to, instead of publicly tweeting Adam. In an ideal world, it would be the right thing to do. A newbie reaching out to Adam is no different that Adam acting as a mentor for AI S9. Unfortunately, I don't think that James' tweets are as honest as that. I trust that whatever Adam chooses to do will be based on his best judgement. Adam should tread carefully and react accordingly. Adam is not on the same "level" as James. Newbies don't just tweet artists like Adam and ask to meet for lunch. Or call them Dude. James has connections that are connected to Adam. Michael Orland is one. Debra Byrd is another, or anyone at 19. But to publicly tweet this out, IMO, doesn't require Adam to do anything.

During our 'twitter entertainment' what was the "it's a business" stuff about....and somebody mentioned something about JD posting videos while tweeting with Adam? Does anybody know what this is all about? ??? That was me....James tweeted a family picture and and video clip of a guitarist in the midst of his "exchange" with Adam....I guess it just struck me the wrong way - like he wasn't really paying much attention to Adam - which is just unbelievable to me.... I'm probably being too sensitive...haha! ..but who in their right minds could focus on anything other than the man himself when he was "talking" to you?!! (the "business stuff" was just James referring to what he wanted to speak to Adam about...I'm assuming general business advice?) edit/ It's 1:30 am guys...I've got to go to bed!! Hahaha!

Those responses from AFL indicated to me that he really does not want to meet with him. And why should he? And I think JD is well aware that this will be all over the internet. He will look like the good guy vs AFL, the snarky diva.

glamnana, no one in the press will know Adam was being snarky. ETA: As a matter of fact, I am reading at MJ's right now and not one single poster has mentioned snark.

I saw it as a very lame attempt to show that his was trying to "be friendly" hence the "call a truce" statement.. I really think something was said to him. I think that later, should it come up.. JD can say he extented the olive branch and wanted to meet for lunch.. If Adam doesn't meet for lunch...etc.. Well, the spin can be.." hey, he didn't show.. what;s that tell ya.. I was nothing but nice *shrug*" I really detest feel sorry for JD.

Well, tbh, I gotta give James props over this. Say what you will, the guy has balls. Maybe not a filter, and maybe not good PR instincts, but he put himself out there with these tweets tonight. I'm sure he does realize that getting on the good side of Adam and his fanbase wouldn't be a bad thing. Eh, I can't get myself worked up over this one. Neither can I. I can't hate the kid either. Just humorous to read. I actually kind of feel for the guy.

glamnana, no one in the press will know Adam was being snarky. Yeah....most 'estsablished artists' probably wouldn't have bothered answering him.

Yes, he should have used the channels that exist instead of putting Adam on the spot the way he did IMHO
