OT but does anyone know when Brook is getting married? She lives in New York, I think, and I hope Adam, Sauli, and the whole GlamFamily will all able to attend. It would be great if they could all be there together again.  ETA:Wow! Michael Jackson's fans have already pulled ahead of Adam MJ 52% Adam 48% ??? Adam was ahead by a large margin earlier today! :( They will be hard to beat. They are really mad about Michael not getting the Grammy this year! Damn! Sorry for the spamming! Where is everyone?? |

Brooke is getting married in CA. I am thinking somewhere around the Oakland/SF area. She asked for venue recommendations sometime back, for No. CA. Then when she came out for the NOH8 pic, she did a tweet about flying Burbank to Oakland. If she uses the venue I recommeded via Twitter, I will die!!! Brazil Building in Tilden Park, Berkeley. Also, the other day she did a tweet that had a countdown of the number of days 'til her wedding. Good stan that I am, I went and counted it off on the calendar. I came up with the wedding is August 24th or 25th. I would imagine the whole Glamily will be there. Awww, maybe not Sasha if she is still on SYTYCD. Thanks, mys*&@^#r. For some reason, I thought she and her fiance were from New York. |

Wow Adam Levine killed it singing the opening of Queen's We Are the Champions last week. Forget Christina, I want Adam to collab with Adam Levine. That would be random but soo cool. (OK cool for me at least :  |

OMG! My son was watching the CMT station : and he yells for me to come here because Adam is on Extreme Makeover Home Addition! I go in and there Adam was in all his awesomeness. The guy who hosts had done a show with a Rock and Roll theme because the family they were helping started a non-for-profit percussion studio in their community. They loved KISS and they got to go see them in concert while Home Makeover redid their home and at the end of the show there was a KISS cameo, then an ADAM CAMEO saying (it looked like he was wearing his AMA performance outfit) something about how music has a chance to change and enrich people's lives and how great it was that the family was helping to promote the arts for kids, and then a Snoop Dog Cameo!! I NEVER thought I'd ever see AFL on CMT!! 8-) Sorry if we already knew this but I didn't know anything about it.

(OK cool for me at least : Don't mean to start a non-Adam discussion, but IMHO not many people could sing Queen song. I think Queen's song is made for voice like Adam Lambert .. big voice.. powerful and wide range. Levine's voice doesn't have those character. He's struggling singing that Queen's song.. but his guitar playing was a killer that night.  If the Lambert/Levine collaboration is in writing a song ... it might be okay... maybe.. not sure... but please not for singing together... Adam Lambert's voice is too powerful for Levine's... again JMHO..... 8-) 8-) ..... ~~hiding to watch SYTYCD now.. ~~ |

Agree, about Gaga! Definitely over exposed. And when you are going to proclaim how great your new album is and how it is the "second coming" please don't turn out an album that sounds like old, recylced and stolen stuff. Or as Chunkey put it, "Crap!" Was at MJ's and see that David Cook did WalMart's Soundstage. There are 5 songs from the new album on it. I wonder if Adam will do one also? Cook's is very well done. The interviews are fabulous! Q3, do you think Adam is too controversial, for WalMart? If I remember correctly, WalMart did not have an FYE exclusive, which is very unusual for Idols. I don't remember going to Wal Mart to get one of the FYE versions? Or am I forgetting? :-/ David Cook is on Walmart Soundcheck -- not Walmart Soundstage, if I am not mistaken. Adam was on Walmart Soundcheck with Kris and Allison when FYE came out. He was also on the poster, aisle stand and FYE was in 2 Walmart national inserts. Seems like more than enough Walmart promo to me. Adam sold well at Walmart and had great placement in most stores. The Walmart versions of Idol debut albums usually just have one extra track. There were not Walmart Idol album versions from AI8 or AI9. There were special iTunes version because iTunes is now #1, and Walmart is now #2 in market share. No Adam is not too controversial for a Walmart version but making special version of a CD is a big commitment -- and potentially expensive since it can only be sold at that retailer's stores. Labels are now making special versions of digital albums, cutting high-price vinyl albums and adding bonus digital tracks to CD bundles. The best strategy is to make just on CD version of an album for the US and all countries that will accept the US version. |
