4Msrmyn, thank you for those Royal Oak pics. Wow!! The crowd shots and candids really convey the spirit of GNT. My pulse even quickened a bit. Love to see the joy and diversity of the crowd – really brings it all back for me.
Yes!!! Thanks so much for finding those, 4Msrmyn! Royal Oak was my first GNT and I was pretty close to the front, maybe about 5 or 6 layers back. I think I can make out the top of my head in that crowd shot, lol.
It was broiling hot outside that day and we'd waited for hours, and then more hours inside, and it wasn't much cooler in the venue. The security was merciless, and I tried to ustream but it was a total fail
But the crowd energy was amazing, and it was surreal (tm AFL) to see the GNT and Adam so close and in living color! Not to mention I got to meet some awesome people I'd only "known" online before. It was a beautiful thing :D
