OMG I totally agree with this!!!!!!! LOL YOUR REPLY TOTALLY MADE ME LOL AND MAYBE IT'S BC I HAVE BEEN UP SINCE 4 AM AND I AM SUPER TIRED BUT I DUNNO MAN. I HAVE STIRRED THE POT YO. OH MAN. LOL, yeah you have, but that's cool. I think it's a great discussion: where, as fans do we shrug it off and where do we say, "WTF? That's ridiculous." It is extremely relevant in that this whole thing is coinciding with what America is going through right now. Even as recent as the Joan Rivers thing on Monday, there was a confusion about what is funny and what is offensive? And there was much debate. Debate is how things happen. Discussing ideas openly and rationally and (attempting) to convey your perspective is how REAL change might be made (or not ... *sigh*), but my lesson from being a part of these online communities is to never stop discussing it. I love how we converse so freely about extremely complex topics. And I would hate to have anyone say, "That's how it is, we can't do anything about it." (Exaggerating for effect.) Maybe it's one person, one mind-set at a time, but maybe that can tip the scales? If not, well, we tried.

If I remember correctly, he has also mentioned ice-cream. Dreyer's Silk Chiffon, something like that I think. If you ask me what ice-cream my kids like the best : : : : crap, I am truly addicted. Hmmmm. You mean French Silk ice cream, right? I know that was just a typo. 8-) Oh, kiddies, while we're here, let's give Adam some more hits. www.vevo.com/watch/adam-lambert/fever-vevo-presents/GBE431000288Now I am spamming. Just wondering, but is this one of those streaming sites that Adam makes money off of? This was discussed in that article posted earlier about how to help the artists you love make more money.

Hi all- I haven't posted in AGES, although I've been lurking the whole time. I usually think of something to post and then find that one of you amazing ladies (and gents) has said exactly what I was thinking, only more eloquently. But I have to pop in and say that I so appreciate the level of discussion here, and appreciate everyone's willingness to find a balance (4EverAdam - I was inspired by what you posted!!) between the silly, the sexy, the snarky, and the smart. So, hi all, and thank you for creating such an amazing community! Welcome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So glad you decloaked! Post early and often! :D

Well, I love your attitude, BB, and in a perfect world, wish I could do it. (I'm way too emotional for that.) But the political events of today have proven that "live and let live" doesn't often cut it. We have people literally stripping the fundamental rights out of more than half of the U.S. population. How can we just shrug that off? I know that these are two different things, but they are most certainly intertwined. We need to stand up and say, "I will not tolerate this BS anymore." And keep saying it until we are heard. I agree that standing up for rights is imperative, that's not what I am getting at. To me this is not about human rights or anything, it's about whether or not people like Adam and his music. Gay, straight, young, whatever. It always seems like alot of fans gather the pitch forks any time Adam is shed in a negative light. And to me, any one who is prejuidiced/dislikes him enough to rant on an internet message board is most likely not gonna change their minds by others telling them what's what. I wish it would but...yeah. I mean I think there are legitimate times to stand up and be heard, but I also think there are many times people jump the gun. Maybe I am just a terrible person if I think that no pressing social issues will ever be solved in the comment sections on the internet? LOL. If that's not the case then get thee to youtube now because we have ALOT of work to do. LMAO. YMMV. If nothing at least it's interesting convo. I think the response is more for me than thinking I am changing anyone's mind. I respond maybe once out of every hundred things I read. No real pattern to what pushes my buttons. There are just some times where I feel like I need to be on the record, rather than muttering amongst my friends in the background. Adam's a big boy and doesn't need any of us to mother him, and yes, some people can hardly tolerate any criticism uttered. I have no delusions about him as a perfect human being. I can't make the world fair, but I can occasionally go on record with saying I like him a lot the way he is.

Welcome birdieeve and glad you have come out to play. I am in your same boat many a time. Others are quick to post and they share much of the same feelings that I do. Seems redundant to keep repeating but with Adam somethings cannot be repeated often enough.

Very interesting discussion tonight. I find myself agreeing with just about everyone. I, like all of you, want Adam to be recognized for his incredible voice, incredible talent, his wonderful personality, his remarkable people skills, his positive attitude, and his whole gorgeous self. I am not surprised, however, that he is not. I know too many mega-talented, nice artists who exist in oblivion, playing gigs at night and working as teachers, waiters, insurance salesmen, or computer geeks for a living.
I also have tastes in music and art that are not "mainstream." In fact, Adam is the only artist I listen to that has had a top 40 presence at all. None of the artists I enjoy would make the "celebrity A list." I look at what is hottest in the entertainment world - TV, music, movies - and KNOW I am not in the demographic, cuz most of it leaves me cold.
I have tried introducing Adam to my friends and family, with little success. I have to accept that their tastes and appreciation just differ from mine. I'm not gonna start listening to their country music or urban music either, and they accept that as well.
So, for me, I am thrilled that Adam has gotten the measure of fame and recognition he has. I am thrilled that he will always have a full time career in performance that will provide a comfortable living and artistic satisfaction. I am grateful that he has achieved enough recognition that I can see him on talk shows and hear him on recordings -- even go to a concert when he doesn't live in my city. I am excited about the possibilities for the future.
My point? I love my Adam, and I am over angsting about what others think about him. He seems to be very happy, he says he is living his dream. I am thrilled for him.
