OT Watching SYTYCD, and not to be mean but why does all the recent David Cook songs sounds like old, bad demos of Daughtry? First The last goodbye sounds like a unfinished 2nd rate version of No Surprise, and Fade Into Me sounds Feels like tonight a bit or another Daugthry tune. I mean I'm not a fan or non-fan of him, think that he is talented, but why are they, trying to make him sound like a Daughtry 2.0? Can't really believe that this is what DC wanted his album to sound like. idk just musing There are other groups who also sound all alike too. I don't keep up with who they are, but often I'll listen to a song and think it is so-and-so. Turns out not. The lead singer voices are very similar (same timbre and a bit raspy), and the songs blend together in my brain.

I'm listening to my local radio station at work WSTW 93.7 which support Adam, the DJ just mentioend the "spat" between Levine/Lambert. THey actually played Levine soundbite/critique of Nakia - never heard the song/probably sang better than the artist, etc - and mentioned Lambert Twit response. He'll know who I am next album etc. THey then added that the "Glamberts" were out in full force.
so more publicity.. I might add this station constantly plays WWFM and sporadically IIFY. BUT they play him!!!!!!!

Just watched the Slezak and Cantiello interviews from Nokia, NYC and this was on the same You Tube page. I think it's on topic, because of Levine's statement about Adam's fans. This is one of the funniest things ever done about the Glamberts, IMO! youtu.be/Hyy_1om0A6Q

OT I just wanted to share my feelings about Amy Winehouse with you.NOT related to Adam AT ALL. NOT implying anything. If it's not appropriate mods can delete it. Amy was supposed to have a few concerts in Europe for those of you who don't know. She was supposed to appear here in Greece also yesterday. However she canceled all her appearances due to her drunk and drugs problems again ,although she's recently got out of a clinic. I feel so so sad about this woman. To me she's a genius. Voice, melody, lyrics, I simply cannot compare her with anyone. The best album of the decade IMO. This is her entrance and her "performance" in Belgrade, Serbia. Watching this total wreck on stage just had me in tears. www.dailymotion.com/video/xjecsc_amy-winehouse-live-in-serbia-belgrade-18-06-2011_musicIt's heartbreaking and frustrating to watch performers throw their lives and careers away like this. Whitney Houston is another one who is a sad shell of her former self. In the acting field, Lindsay Lohan has become a punchline for comedians when at one time she was a beautiful, talented young actress. I loved her in Mean Girls. I always want to say to these people: Is it worth it? Are the drugs and alcohol really so enticing that they're worth ruining everything you've worked for? Most people would kill for the opportunities these people have. I think Adam has his priorities straight so he will not get caught up in anything like this. I hope so, anyway. We've seen it happen so often that I'm not sure anyone is safe.
