Did you all already noticed that Adam changed his outfit DURING IWIA from Taipei onward? I haven't caught up on all the threads so don't know if this was discussed already. In Hong Kong he changed from Fringe to Leather in less than 1.5 minutes.... Very impressive. He must have had help during that change. As is visible in this video (not the changing, but him leaving and returning in another outfit ): www.youtube.com/watch?v=cYy-Q7OZ-C0I asking about this and a "small bird" tells me it took two people helping him to make that fast change happen. I would love to see a video of that change!!

Didn't someone say that live XFactor doesn't start until November and that October's programs have already been recorded. I hope so because I was thinking that I would really miss his Halloween Party if he didn't have one this year. It's an annual highlight for me!

Many have commented on how Adam has gone from strength to strength in these QAL tours. It seems impossible that his performances could get better when I already thought they were perfect, but it has happened.
He is more confident and assertive as a frontman. Not at all timid about taking that spotlight and milking it, while still acknowledging the others in the band. He is taking his time, not rushing into or thru anything.
Vocally, he is stronger as well. In the past, there were a few areas of his range that were more difficult for him to sing with power and accuracy without straining. WATC, in particular. Riddle's most recent video of WWRY and WATC showed him singing the lowest notes strongly, and hitting those high notes on "we'll keep ON FIGHTING" and and WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS, NO time FOR LOsers, CUZ WE are THE CHAMPions" on top of the pitch, powerfully, and without any sound of strain. He has mastered pushing the voice right to the edge cleanly, resonantly, and without tipping over and cracking.
I suspect that Adam has been watching himself in a number of videos. He can be seen frequently making gestures and striking poses that are almost balletic. At times his performance resembles a photo shoot or a modern dance. That doesn't just happen by accident. He has studied his every look on the stage. He is not content to just sing the hell out of a song. He sculpts the look with costumes, poses and movements for a compelling visual performance. It is not choreographed in a formal sense, but it is very intentional.
The expanse, diversity, and scope of the Queen catalog lets Adam display his talents and vision to the fullest. What a treat for the ears and the eyes.

I really enjoyed this video -- the way Adam is taking his time and engaging with the fans! I also love that bit of theatre he throws into the word "complain" after 1:25.

What a treat for the ears and the eyes. Yes, yes, yes to all of it! Adam will always be respectful of Brian and Roger, but he now has dispelled any lingering reticence about taking his rightful place along side them as an equal. Huge difference in attitude makes for even more fun, more soaring notes, more relaxed banter.
